Re: Brooklyn Inaugural Block

We have had some awful offers and some interesting offers for Marcus Smart but unless we are blown away he will not be dealt.

Our only other tradeable asset is Amir Johnson could be had for a young promising player or a mid round draft pick. Was averaging 19 and 9 prior to his injury. Would be a great cheap pickup for any team looking to compete next season. I know of one eastern conference team in particular that should be all over him.

Had a very interesting offer for Marcus Smart so I am going to put him on the block just to see what else is out there while I think about what I want to do on the deal.

Also, I highly doubt I am going to trade it due to the big drop in talent after pick 5 but I will put pick 4 on the market. I am either looking for a top flight young player or at least a top 7 pick in this draft in return. Would also do 4 and one of my young players outside of smart if it allowed me to move up further in the draft as well.

With the diminished cap we have the ability to take on any contract for you teams that are wanting the ability to offer a max contract. We will take any deal large or small for appropriate compensation.

We are also interested in obtaining another top 10 pick, preferably a top 8 and have several young players or future picks from other teams to help a deal.

Available players:
Nikola Jokic: Previous top 4 pick. Averaged 16 and 6 once arriving to our team. Has a lot of potential still remaining
Bruno Caboclo: 6th overall last year. Loads of potential to remain. Was compared to Paul Pierce in the draft if he can develop in the coming seasons
Ersan Ilyasova: 21 and 7 and over 1.3 bpg in 36 games for us. Would be a great 4th or 5th starter for a playoff team or bench scorer. Only a .8 pa/sf on defense. One of the more undervalued players in the league
Jose Calderon: Averaged 9 and 7 assists with under 2 turnovers per game. Wont take shots away from your scorers, would be a reliable reserve pg/spot starter for any team.
Marcus Smart: Have had a few interesting offers but nothing of substance for the previous #1 overall pick. Still open to dealing him for appropriate value...

We are also acquiring 2 other young previous top 10 picks whom I am open to dealing in a 3 way. If interested contact me and I'll see if you have anything I am looking for.

Jrue Holiday is on the table and want to see if anyone can beat it. Jrue is averaging 16 6 and 9 shooting nearly 47% from the field and 42% from 3. Is also considered one of the top defensive point guards in the league.

Also shopping Serge Ibaka whose having a career year posting 14 10 and 3 blocks behind 52% shooting.

Also available:
Ersan Ilyasova
Nikola Jokic
Anderson Varejao

Tomorrow will be a massive trade off day it appears and it will be no different here in Brooklyn. With that said we are looking to trade a few extra players.

Nikola Jokic: I made a slight adjustment and Jokic appears to have taken off now averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds and still only 21 years and continues to improve
Ersan Ilyasova: Perfect for the playoff team. Has played really well, prior to being benched to give minutes to my youth he was averaging 18 ppg from 40% from 3. Would be a great bench scorer for any team. A very large expiring as well
Bruno Caboclo: Still has a ton of potential and I am hesitant to deal him in case he starts to realize that potential. Large improvement over his rookie season.
Dario Saric: My do it all forward. Just started having a mild slump after shooting in the upper 40s much of the season. Averaging 9 6 and 4 and 1.1 steals from SF. Looks like a great glue guy that can play 4 positions.

Dirk Nowitzki - large expiring for any cap clearing team.

Hit us up, not looking for anything in particular other than players under 30 preferably.

Amir Johnson one of the better underappreciated bigs in the league. Good offensively and defensively.

Have a trade offer that would make Julius Randle, Amir Johnsom, and or Nikola Jokic available. Randle is expected to have a big season next year as he receives his energy boost and his ratings continue to go up. Amir is probably the mlst underrated player in the league and Jokic is coming off a great season averaging 13 and 7.

Have more young players than I have minutes for. Would like to consolidate some talent and look for upgrades.

Star Player:
Dion Waiters: will only be 25 next season and is one of the top young sgs in the league. Averaged nearly 18 4 4 and 1.3 steals. Can shoot the 3 and plays elite defense.

Key Veterans:
Amir Johnson: one of the most underrated players in the league. He can score, rebound, block shots, grab steals, and is extremely efficient.

Young players still in rookie deals: ranked in order of hardest to easiest to acquire.
Willie Cauley Stein: one of the top young centers in the league. High discipline, high iq, elite shot blocker and defender plus will average over 1 steal a game.
Julius Randle: should expect a break out season. One of the top rebounders in the league. Has the talent to be a 20 and 10 type player, love his fit next to wcs.
Rondae Hollis Jefferson: elite defensive wing, one of leagues best. Shut down paul george single handedly in his last game. Perfect role player.
Bogdan Bogdanovic: future 6th man extraordinaire. Can play the 1-3, has elite inside game, elite draw foul ability. Needs to finish his preference work before becoming a star.
Nikola Jokic: strong offensive big. Took a huge step forward this season and expecting another step next season. Averaged 13 and 7 and continues to improve with continued preference work.
Bruno Caboclo: still just 20 years old, a player that has superstar potential we just dont have thr playing time to develop him. Could be a great addition to any team looking yo rebuild and take a chance.
Kyle Vinales: efficient pg, will trade for a 2nd rounder
Louis Labeyrie: will never get pt, will trade for a 2nd

The rookies:
Jake Layman: our scouts show a future star in him. Can score, shoot the 3, pass handle, block shots, get steals. Theres nothing this guy cant do.
Player to be named: we see a young RHJ in this incoming rookie, but this player will be better.

With the arrival of Aaron Gordon we decided to shop Lamarcus Aldridge who is still an all-star level player averaging 17 8 and 1.2 steals per game despite playing on a team with multiple scorers. Will still be a great player next season as well.

Others are available as well. Link to roster is below.

Bump. Looking for a more prototypical post defender and or wing defender.

All star caliber wing that is just no longer needed with Gordons arrival.
