Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Exploring a move to package Dedric Lawson with MJ Walker (or possibly even Kaiser Gates) for a significant upgrade. If you have interest, particularly in Lawson, let's talk.
I do not have plans to downgrade Walker or Gates for lesser pieces. I think we have a window to contend and I want to make the most of it.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
I'll do a more thorough trade block later on but we will be shopping a S&T for MJ Walker this summer. He is very talented but just does not appear to be a fit here in Houston at all. Offer away.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
We might be quite close to something involving an MJ Walker S&T. If you want to be the team to unlock his full potential, get in touch with me now, because he might be gone by next week!
We will also look to move Dedric Lawson next.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Houston has a SIGNIFICANT amount of space to slot in a 4th team into this trade. Houston has the flexibility to take back more than $12M beyond what we are sending out to you... so if you want some immediate cap space, talk to us.
I'd want compensation for a bad contract, but a good player that fits our team could get you assets on top of space.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Will listen to offers on JaKeenan Gant and Kaiser Gates. expecting a high value young player/assets in return for either, but especially Gant.
Looking for a big time perimeter scorer as well, or multiple shooters

MJ Walker S&T, Dedric Lawson, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Amari Bailey all verbaled
Held some talks recently around JaKeenan Gant as well but nothing imminent.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
playmaking PG Trevon Duval available for free to any team under the cap or luxury tax. 1 year vet min ($1.46M)
PGs with 88 PAS / 93 HDL / 89 IQ don't grow on trees, so if you're looking at acquiring a playmaker as cheap as possible, this is it!
First come first serve.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Jock Landale is close to a day 30 trade, and will likely be moved for a different position but similar caliber player on a nearly identical contract (1+1 TO around the same price)

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Houston looking at offers for combo guard Kerwin Roach, who averaged 17ppg and 9apg last season for the Wolves (19/13 in the playoffs!)
He's not seeing the same kind of usage here and probably isn't going to get more from here.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
I think we're due for a shake-up.
Wendell Carter, Cam Reddish, Kaiser Gates, Isaiah Jackson all OTB. Looking to trim some long-term salary off the books as there's likely no way we can keep everyone after this summer anyway.
A true three-level wing scorer (bonus points if they're a PG) and defensive center are top priorities
The rookies Salaun and Ellis are far from untouchable as well.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Kaiser Gates OTB, looking for an offensive wing, stretch 5, or a pick to acquire one
Core: Gant, Lofton, Musa
Valued but available vets: Reddish, Gates, Knight, Weatherspoon (TR - will entertain S&T offers in offseason)
Rotation vets: Jackson
Valued young players: Juzang, Mane, Salaun
Available cheap: Ellis
Trade restricted: Adams, Hamilton (unless you reach out literally today)
--
The Rockets aren't being blown up, but we're going to look at pretty much any way to revamp this team around Gant, Musa, Lofton, Juzang, and Reddish.
