Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Did get an offer on Eric Mika and might do something there, but otherwise all quiet on the trade front. Let's talk!

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Regardless of what happens in these playoffs, think it's time for us to try a different look. I intend to trade Malik Monk this offseason, either to try a different #1 option, or to retool around the Gates/Walker/Reddish trio

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block - Malik Monk
If you want player instructions to fix your guys, I want to move up significantly from pick #24. I am willing to give most if not all of them if the pick (or player?) Is good enough.
Monk is still available looking at all types of things

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block - Malik Monk
A lot of activity surrounding Monk from about 5 or 6 different teams this week. Things could serious at any time. In parallel, we've had some offers to cash in some prized pieces for a replacement star. It's a lot to consider, but hope to have that sorted out by the start of the draft.
Talk to me whether you want a star guard or want to trade your star, I'm open to anything and everything!

We're as close as we've ever been to trading Malik Monk. I'm almost assuredly taking an L value-wise but receiving players I like in return. This might be the last call if you want the greatest and most prolific 3-point shooter this league has ever had!

Indeed
Monk couldn't be James Harden and that sucks. Still a Klay Thompson type player

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Pressed up against the hard cap? Buyer's regret? Want to open up cap space later on in free agency to scoop up all the cheap leftover talent because nobody else has cap space? As part of a potential deal, I can eat a 1-year contract up to $17M without giving you much salary back (except maybe a couple of minimums).
My 1st round pick next season could be available for better players.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Gates, Reddish, Walker, Lofton, Moneke, Knight, Mane, and Mika are now my only returning players pending trades, and I don't want to trade any of them except Mika.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Houston might be done trading for the offseason. Eric Mika fits what we're planning to do quite well but I'd entertain trades for him.
Also would consider dealing some but not all of our instructions for picks. With our current roster I don't foresee a glaring need for all 12.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Mika and bench players have been traded for backcourt scoring. At this point, probably rolling with my core, but always open to making moves around the fringes of the roster. Mikal Bridges is not off the table due to contract situation, but valued well.
Wouldn't be opposed to grabbing another big man somehow

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Love my top 7 players right now, but wouldn't mind exploring opportunities to improve with Jamal Murray, Mikal Bridges, or even Dedric Lawson. Offseason flexibility is a concern, but something I'm willing to risk if it helps our chances at winning it all.
If you have interest in any of those three let me know. A Lawson trade would require a good big man coming back, preferably an upgrade by packaging with one of the others.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Only on for a couple more hours so send offers ASAP
Probably standing pat after the Murray trade but I'll take basically any value however small for James Thompson IV or Elie Okobo if you want a serviceable big or a low minute volume scoring guard
I also won't rule out a Mikal trade but he's quite valuable

KW wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2017 4:47 am I am very confident in our core of Reddish/Walker/Gates/Gant/Lawson despite getting embarrassed by Denver. As much as I believe our 15-man roster has enough to win a title, it would be irresponsible if I didn't look for upgrades, so some combo of S&Ts for Svi/Bridges/Knight can be discussed, along with a 1st (swapping my 2033 and 2035 for someone else's 2034)
Against my better judgement, I will dangle MJ Walker in select trade offers, but have zero intention on selling low given the frustrating season he had. Anyone who scouted him 3 seasons ago knows he should be shooting 7-10 TS% better than he did this year. I'd say there's a 70-80% chance he's back next season.
With limited exceptions, I do NOT plan to entertain offers for Kenny Lofton or Karim Mane yet, in hopes they can be trusted next season.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Reddish/Davison/Mane
Walker/[Bridges]/[Svi]/Bailey
[Gates]/Juzang/Jackson-Davis
Gant/Lofton
Lawson/Moneke/[Knight]
We've got 15 already unless we lose one or two in FA, or sign TJD/Bailey to two-way contracts. Looking to keep everything and run back, but I'm going to make Svi available for a cheaper player or future 2nd(s)

Chima Moneke + a S&T Svi Mykhailiuk as salary filler
available for an upgrade at ANY position. if you want a young raw Dennis Rodman wanna-be, come get him.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
MJ Walker is being discussed. Nothing imminent yet, but he is not being sold cheap after a down season where he shot 8-10 TS% below where he should be.
But if you're interested in trading for him, now would be the best time.

MJ Walker, Chima Moneke being thrown around in a few different talks at the moment. Nothing close to imminent, but make an offer if you like either one

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
MJ Walker
Dedric Lawson
Chima Moneke
names being thrown around in various trades
Generally want to stay young and likely can't take a lot of extra salary, but i would look at all options with them.
