DET G Jarrett Jack "Ready"

Post by NanashiWake »

With the Detroit Pistons already playing some of the best basketball in the Eastern Conference, one veterran player off the bench has stated that he is ready to play a bigger role on this winning team. The 31-year old G is deep in HC Flip Saunder's rotation but after a recent Piston's practice, he met with reporters and dropped a surprising quote.
I've been working my ass off and I'm ready to play a bigger part for this team. I'd really like an opportunity form coach to show that I've been around this league for a while for a damn reason. Of course at the day it's all about winning and I ain't denying that, but I'd like to contribute a lot more than I have been and I know I can.

Jarrett Jack has been slightly impressive in limited minutes, playing in 3 games thus far and not missing a shot from the field, although truth be told, he hasn't taken many. We shall see if his words lead to his goal of more minutes.

Talented player buried in Detroit's bench.
His contract sucks, though.

Pistons have too many PGs to give Jack consistent playing time.

Not really a Jack fan. He's okay, but is way too epensive for a mediocre backup PG.

I actually do like Jack a decent amount and he was a primary backup two seasons ago for me. At this point though, I would rather give more minutes to Allen and Jennings since I feel they provide a lot more to the team. Jack is a good player though and could end up being a big part of our playoff rotation.
