Suns F Miles Plumlee Wants To Stay In Phoenix?

Post by NanashiWake »

Miles Plumlee has been a big piece off the bench for Phoenix's rise in the standings this season. Putting up career-high scoring numbers for his first season off the bench is a great sign that if Miles' number was called, the Suns can expect their youngster to step up. When Plumlee was selected 26th overall, not many believe he would be the level of offensive-rebounder he has become. Up there with Andre Drummond (DET) and Tristan Thompson (WAS), Miles is the type of player that organizations love and will try to get his team 2-3 possessions every time down the floor.

In the final year of his rookie deal, Miles was asked how he felt going into free-agency or extension talks;

Miles Plumlee
I'm just...not going to let it affect my play. I'm going to play this season and help the team get wins. We're young, we're winning, I'm happy. If this continues, I can see myself being a Sun for life.

good player - elite rebounder. Will always find minutes no matter where he plays despite obvious weaknesses
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

He's a perfect bench player because there are no offensive Cs off the bench for the other teams (except for Dwight who's coming off the bench lol)
I'd pay a lot to have him and his rebounding here. In a four spread system he flourishes as offensive rebounder / shot blocker, his skill set is highly valuable!
