111-114 loss vs DET

Considering we got completely freaking annihilated in the paint by Kavion Pippen and Wiseman, a 3-point loss is way better than I would anticipated. Pippen had 42 on only 4 missed shots, and Wiseman did his damage as well. Brown, Chet, Manek were our only bigs, all had at least 4 fouls, and Manek isn't a even a big anyway. Would've loved to have Hayes for this one.

Mitchell: 21pts, 4reb, 3ast
Brown: 20pts, 8reb
Walker: 16pts, 4reb, 3stl, 2blk, 4-9 FG, 4-5 3P
Varnado: 12pts, 5reb, 5-9 FG
ZDK: 12pts, 2stl, 4-8 FG
Juzang: 11pts, 4-7 FG, 3-5 3P
Chet: 9pts, 7reb, 2blk
Hagans: 5pts, 8reb, 17ast

I don't expect us to fare much better against Memphis and their resident paint mashers.

We lost in OKC. Struggle has been real lately, especially with the tough schedule. We have 5 at home now. .hopefully we can win at least 3 of those.

Turnovers have been a bit of an issue. Might be time to give Castle more time at SG.

Important 2-0 home sim, can't afford to blow more home games. On the road we still a mediocre at best.

Game one against a highly talented Pistons team, both teams decided to go with offense instead of D. Nothing new for the Hawks.
Very close game, which in the end went our way with winning the TO battle 23-12.

Kavion Pippen was unstoppable and turns into an All-Star quick.

DET - ATL: 113 - 125

DET
K. Pippen: 31pts (10/12), 12reb, 1ass
V. Kreijci: 18pt (6/14), 8reb, 5ass

ATL
N. Marshall: 30pt (10/15), 5ass, 3stl
V. Okouo: 29pt (11/13), 7reb, 3stl

In the second game we host BI's Raptors and it was even a bit more offense from our side.
Naji went off as we started with a 42point first quarter and never looked back.

TOR - ATL: 108 - 130

TOR
Snail: 28pt (12/32), 10reb, 6ass
A. Abudurexiti: 22pt (6/13), 8reb, 3ass

ATL
N. Marshall: 47pt (17/29), 7reb, 2ass
A. Simons: 18pt (9/23), 11ass, 3reb

Portland – 90
Sacramento – 104

POR
Terry – 21 pts (7-14 FG, 7-13 3PA), 2 blk
GG – 21 pts (5-12 FG, 4-9 3PA, 7-8 FT), 6 reb, 4 stocks
G-Will – 12 pts (6-11 FG), 6 reb, 2 stl

SAC
Cockburn – 23 pts (11-15 FG), 5 reb, 2 blk
AA – 17 pts (8-21 FG), 20 reb, 5 ast (1 TO), 2 stocks
Togashi – 10 pts (4-9 FG, 2-3 3PA), 7 ast (1 TO), 3 stocks

We once again got dominated by the best the West has to offer. The Kings have especially owned us though. Terry and GG were great, combining for 41 very efficient points and just 1 combined turnover. It’s pretty ridiculous that we only scored 90 total points given the performances of GG and Terry, but unfortunately they received next to no help.

This team has been on a PIP all season, and they’ve disappointed me for the last time. Time to blow it up.

Got busy again in the last few weeks but somehow we are keeping a good pace at 21-13. Our division is really tough.

0-2 sim

L vs. WAS

We get outplayed by WAS, behind their strong interior play. Evan Mobley had 22/11/5 w/ 2 blks and Jake Stephens had 15/12/5 w/ 1 stl & 3 blks.

L vs. ATL

ATL put up 130 points and Naji Marshall was special, putting up 47/7/2 w/ 1 blk.
