126-93 win @ TOR

Nice W to get on track. Finally, our first win on the road of the entire season. Insane game from our bench where Epps and the rookie Brady Manek just went berserk. We shot the lights out and steadily outscored Toronto throughout the game. Side note: I specifically game planned our defense to defend the paint well and avoid foul trouble as much as possible. Yet all three of Hayes, Brown, and Chet got their minutes limited due to foul trouble, and we gave up 37 to Snail Magic anyway. I don't think I will ever understand this engine.

Epps: 29pts, 10reb, 3ast, 2blk, 13-24 FG
Manek: 18pts, 3ast, 9-10 FG
Brown: 16pts, 6reb
ZDK: 16pts, 7reb, 8-13 FG
Hayes: 12pts, 8reb, 4ast, 2stl, 2blk, 6-6 FG
Mitchell: 12pts, 4reb, 3ast, 5-9 FG
Hagans: 9pts, 15ast, 4-6 FG

Winning on the road is hard man. We had almost a repeat of our game vs Washington against the Hawks this time. This time was the first quarter though, where ATL really took it to us. The offense was bad

Got Langford back and finally got to do some detailed lineup setting. With the pivot back to grind Ball and Langford take a slight hit, but Porter produces so much we're gonna figure it out.

Probably the best b2b we've ever had beating Miami and Sac. Now we will drop 4 in ridiculous fashion lol

We continue this season as a hometown hero as we win another game in a 4-game homestretch. Our bigs starred this game, with Duren and Sarr dropping 20 points each, as a starter and off the bench respectively. Sochan also missed out on a 5x5 by 3 blocks, but dropped 17 assists in the meantime. Good showing overall from the team, despite a noticeable lack of defense being played. We went for the stats this game, Sochan, Williams, and Topic combined for 11 steals, but San Antonio scored 110 on good shooting. It's not a good look.

SA v LAC | 110 - 121
Duren: 21/10/2 on 9-14 FG
Sarr: 20/5/0 w/ 1 stl & 3 blks
Sochan: 8/7/17 w/ 6 stls & 2 blks on 3-3 FG

oh man...

About 10 years ago i remember a Reddit post that pointed out that Kyle Singler's season FG% + 3P% + FT% didn't even add up to 100, and someone dubbed that the "Singler Line" and I've thought about that ever since ... idk if I've ever seen an entire team fail to reach the Singler Line for a game

OT
Los Angeles (L) – 95
Portland – 98

POR
Koumadje – 21 pts (9-14 FG), 12 reb, 4 ast (1 TO), 3 blk, 2 stl
G-Will – 13 pts (4-11 FG, 5-5 FT), 13 reb, 3 blk, 2 stl
Terry – 16 pts (5-14 FG, 3-10 3PA), 6 reb, 6 ast, 6 stocks

LAL
Doumbouya – 29 pts (9-18 FG, 5-9 3PA, 6-8 FT), 9 ast (2 TO), 6 stocks, 4 reb
Banchero – 15 pts (5-14 FG, 5-8 FT), 15 reb
Black – 15 pts (7-14 FG), 5 reb, 2 stocks

Our uninspiring play continues, but we managed to get the win in OT thanks to a 17 point comeback in the last frame. A win is a win I guess, but things are not looking great at the moment.

L vs. HOU

We lose to HOU in a high scoring game that featured a tremendous effort from their bench. Aaron Epps had 29/10/3 w/ 2 blks.

Loss against the Cavs by 3. We need a defensive wing to play when one of our three main guys cannot. Zach Thomas had another nice game but he doesn't give us the defense we need at this moment.

But really we lost this game at the free throw line. 33 to 18 FT advantage to them at our own house is hard to overcome.
Fernando, Midtgaard and Matkovic all with 4 or 5 fouls..

We're definitely struggling to find the right mix with the new guys as we drop 2 on the road including one to Minnesota.

Might have to change it up, bring Thybulle back from the abyss or start searching for some trades.
