Re: Regular Season || Sim 3
Ouch good game to the Magic who showed up on the road ready to play. Offense barely showed up in this one as we barely scratched 100. Congrats. Time to go back to last seasons stuff and build from there. I REALLY wanna try one more time with the post focus, but I also don't wanna start 0-3 trying to try stuff.

L vs. PHI
Tough 3 game slid, we drop another one to rh0xxy's PHI team but Patton finally showed up w/ 31/14, and Little continues to show he's a true point guard w/ 9 assists. On the other end Morant & Mitchell carried their offense and rh0xxy always has strong defensive teams which showed in this one.

Max zone and passive defense. Bruno goes for 50 and they shoot over 50% while not shooting many threes.

@ DET 98 || 26 stocks | 13/38 3pt

J. Murray: 21 pts | 5 rebs | 7/12 FG
K. Porzingis: 11 pts | 13 rebs
J. Adams: 9 pts | 10 asts

C. Kispert: 19 pts | 6/16 3pt | 2 stls
I. Stewart: 16 pts | 14 rebs | 5 blks | 4 stls
J. Wiseman: 10 rebs | 2 blks | 3 stls
The Pistons lost their home opener 106-98 to a resilient Pacers team. The Pacers were propelled by dominant interior scoring, rebounding, and an ability to get to the free throw line. Jamal Murray led all scorers with 21 points off the bench.
The Pistons came up short despite a beastly performance from Isaiah Stewart. Stewart's 16 points and 14 board were paired with 9 stocks, but it wasn't enough as the Pistons shot only 35% from the field and lost the rebounding battle handedly. Kispert shot all 16 of his attempts from 3, but only connected on 6 this time.
The Pistons (1-1) next head to Cleveland to face the Michael Porter and the 0-2 Cavaliers.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 3
Expected 100-92 loss in Denver but we kept it close enough even with Monk dropping 33 on us.
Only down 3 after 3, we couldn't do enough in the last to steal a win but it wasn't a pretty game as we shoot 41.3% from the field and didn't hit a three from only 4 attempts. Thybulle is struggling early on so far but Kofi scored okay with 19 points on 50% shooting.
Ugly contest but kept it close enough to keep Denver honest and they're a very good team at home so can work with that.

Phoenix - 98
Portland - 118
POR
Anigbogu - 29 pts (13-16 FG), 10 reb
Fultz - 22 pts (8-15 FG, 6-12 3PA), 8 ast (2 TO)

Smailagic - 17 pts (6-13 FG), 7 reb
Cunningham - 20 pts (7-22 FG, 4-14 3PA), 6 reb, 4 ast (1 TO)
We shot 61% overall (48% from deep) to beat a young Suns team at home. Ike played really well with a 29/10 game, and Fultz ran the show on offense.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 3
101-78 win vs Charlotte.
Reddish: 18pts, 3ast, 6-11 3P
Walker: 17pts, 6reb, 4ast, 2blk, 5-11 FG, 3-6 3P, 4-4 FT
Lawson: 14pts, 9reb, 7-10 FG
Gates: 12pts, 14reb, 2stl
Knight: 10pts, 7reb, 3ast, 5-6 FG (18min)
Lofton: 8pts, 8reb (17min)
Walker and Reddish did most of the scoring here. While Gant did nothing offensively, we glued Gant to Jovic defensively with great success (holding him to 14 on 7-19 shooting). With the lone exception of John Collins, we suffocated Charlotte. Collins had 27 (on 23 FGA and 11 FTA), and every other Hornet combined for just 51 points. I'm also really enjoying the 19 rebound edge.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 3
Got a very good win over an always tough Sacramento team. Thybulle is always one guy I hate facing and it appears Cockburn will be the next player I hate to face.
Ugly game from both sides as we only converted 40.8% of our attempts and way too many turnovers which kept the Kings in it. If not for our rebounding advantage this likely was a loss.
Regardless happy to be 3-0 with 2 wins over playoff teams. Pelicans next

Re: Regular Season || Sim 3
We debut at home after 2 road games and gladly we won against the Raptors. Not the flashiest of game but our defense stood up and limit them below 100 points. We had control up to the 3rd quarter but Toronto managed to trim down the deficit and made it a close game, good thing we had enough cushion to end up victorious. Morant and Mitchell spearheaded our offense while Collins and Maxey chipping in to help seal the win.
Good game, blackice. It was a hard fought battle.

Brooklyn Nets - 110
Robert Williams - 31 pts, 11 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
DeAndre Ayton - 21 pts, 8 reb, 3 ast, 1 blk
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - 14 pts, 4 reb, 5ast
Travis Trice - 10 pts, 5 reb, 7 ast
Justin James - 10 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 2 blk
Chicago Bulls - 90
Sekou Doumbouya - 19 pts, 5 ast, 3 blk
Jordan McLaughlin - 14 pts, 8 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl
Bilal Coulibaly - 14 pts, 2 reb, 5 ast, 2 stl
Jontay Porter - 11 pts, 11 reb, 1 stl, 2 blk
First road game is a 20-point win as we were able to coast through the 2nd half without much concern of losing. Getting our top-5 bench guys 14+ minutes each was nice to get them some run as we are trying to figure out the hierarchy among the non-starters.
It seems like no matter the game, there will always be one of our guys going bananas. First game was Ayton and this one was Rob Williams with a 31 & 11 double-double. As a team we finished with shooting splits of 50/47/75 for a very efficient night, though we only took eight free throws. One area of concern in this one was the 11 turnovers to Chicago's six, but that didn't matter much when the Paul Reed, Jontay Porter and Jordan McLaughlin combined to shoot 11/39 for 28%.

1-1 vs Cavs & Jazz
Walker Kessler has been a very bright spot for us as the lockerroom begins to become an unhappier place for another player.
We may have to find a place where guys can be happy.

Of course we try to give the bench and young guys more playing time and we lost to the Clippers smh. Time to go back to our regular rotation.
