Re: Regular Season || Sim 5
Good win to Toronto. Crazy the same lineup was putting up 109 a game last season and we haven't broken 95 the last 3 games with no offensive changes. Biggest thing I'm noticing is we're getting wrecked in the 3rd quarter 3 games in a row as well. Maybe we're just in a shooting slump. On to the next one. I've been playing my best defensive lineup, but since we can't break 100 lately maybe I should lean into the offense more.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 5
99-94 win @ LAL
Lawson: 16pts, 8reb, 2blk
Gates: 16pts, 8reb, 6-6 FT
Gant: 13pts, 5reb, 9ast, 3blk, 4-6 FG
Howard: 11pts, 2stl, 4-5 FG, 3-4 3P [essentially his Rockets debut]
Knight: 10pts, 4-5 FG
Not our prettiest game, but we were able to overcome pretty worthless games from Walker and Reddish, keep Bowman at bay. We will need to shake up the rotation as I don't think we're getting our best rotations in the game much, but it looks like Gant+Markus Howard worked very well. While Howard doesn't really fit the positionless thing I'm trying, it looks like his shooting might be important.
I really hope MJ Walker doesn't start every season like this... it happened last year as well, but he's shooting 34/17/85 shooting splits and attempting 9.5 FGA per game. Not looking promising for a huge breakout season... but of course we're only 4 games in.

Bench Langford. I've been saying forever he is terrible. He is taking 20 shots a game. 20 shots that need to go to Porter and Kuzma.drumr wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 10:52 pm Good win to Toronto. The Bucks absolutely dominated the Pistons in Detroit. The story of the game was the Bucks defense, which held the Pistons to 35% shooting and a stunningly low 13 assists. Detroit had few positives in this one.
The MOTM was Troy Brown, who put up a cool 22 points to go with 5 board, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Detroit falls to 2-2 while the Bucks reclaim the division lead at 3-2.
Next the Pistons play host to the Indiana Pacers (2-2), who beat the Pistons a few nights ago.

W vs. CLE
Down Thomas Welsh & Hamidou Diallo we managed to get our first win of the season behind longtime Raptor Michael Young who went off for 20/22/3 w/ 5 blks and really affected the Cavs main offensive weapons (collectively) holding them to 34.3 FG% as a team. The Cavs post defense couldn't stop Justin Patton and rookie Kai "GOATLIFE" Jones made his debut w/ an efficient 14/9 w/ 3 blks. Nassir Little held Romeo Langford to 3-21 shooting.

Nice road win over Atlanta. Ja bumped his season high with 35 this time around while Maxey chipped in 25 off the bench. We got destroyed on the boards though 39-60 so our bigs needs to impose their will more. Big men contributions still missing and i doubt our guards production could sustain this, might need to tweak some later on.
Nice game, Andre. I'm sure you'll find your way soon. Good luck!

Re: Regular Season || Sim 5
Lost at home to the Warriors. Thought we'd try and lock the post down to stop Dozier but he still hammered us then they got their three ball game going and it was lights out. Just a bad 2nd quarter mainly but Kofi had 27 and 9 in the loss, a lone shining light.
Hasn't been the easiest start for us but we're struggling early to find a footing. Kofi has been great and would have to be frontrunner for rookie of the year but Thybulle struggling massively with his shot and both our offense and defense have disappeared. Only early but once we've got a little more sample size, we'll need to make some changes.

We were able to get a road win in Sacramento which is also welcomed. This was the first time we got a DC in, so the lineup definitely looked different than past games. Being +19 on the boards was key, especially since we zoned them hard.

A rough start for us this season with adding another home loss against Rhoxxy's 76ers. They beat us square and fair, good game Rhox!rh0xxy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 12:32 am Nice road win over Atlanta. Re: Regular Season || Sim 5
Great win over a very talented Thunder team. We successfully limited Barrett to 6 shots and kept Quickley to below his season averages. Towns continues to do an amazing job protecting the paint for us as he has another game with a ton of blocks.
We are now the last remaining undefeated team. I know it won't last much longer but we will enjoy it for how little or long it does last.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - 15 pts, 3 reb, 7 ast, 2 stl
DeAndre Ayton - 14 pts, 15 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 3 blk
Tremendous defensive performance by the Nets as we returned home after a quick two-game road trip as we held the Jazz to just 68 points on 30% shooting from the floor and 19% from three.
We need to give a shout out to Kevin Huerter who chipped In eight points and five boards off the bench. HIs .750 TS% is showcasing his incredible efficiency and is pushing for much more playing time, which could cut into the floor time Justin James has been seeing so far this season.
