Newbie question :

It seems that capable 3pts players have really high value in the league. I also read a couple of times that people were looking for player able to break the zone.

Is it related to the offensive pace limitation which make these type of player more efficient?

Offensive pace CAP benefits scoring bigs. Lower pace = more ball movement = more entry passes = more post shots
3pt shooters are highly valued here because teams zone a lot, and when you play 2-3 Zone, there are lots of open 3s.

Kinda a double edge sword though, sure, slower pace should mean getting more entry passes. But high zone also discourages that. The pace adjustments have definitely benefitted shooters, as opposed to slashers/post bigs.

not all 3shoot to attack the zone, can loosen in other ways, take great shooter also implies that fail other facets of the game as defense and rebound, the jumps and cuts in the zone with several men great settings get the zones also
