I have evidence that the matchups at least do take place. I’ve put PGs on centers, vice versa, and when playing the game out in 2D mode I can see my matchups happening. So whether or not they work, I don’t know, but they do happen
I just remembered I also ran a test where I set my center to guard the best perimeter player for a whole season, and he went from facing like 3 drives per game to facing 12 and stopping like 10%

It seems it was already that bug in 18:
WS customer support is ... well, non-existent? I filled the customer support form two weeks ago and they did not even contact me yet. Myles tried to help by contacting Gary (thanks again Myles) but after a first e-mail no more answers. Really frustrating. I have bought a lot of their games over the years, but I don't think that will happen again. I contacted them once in the early days (first version of DDSPB) and then they did answer quickly. Not sure what happened over the years with their customer support.

Have you tried joining the WS Slack to ask for help?
No, but why should I? I guess when you pay for the games and fill the customer support form, which is the official support channel as far as I know, you should have some kind of answer.
I know these are tough times for all of us, WS included, but at least a brief answer like "it has been received and we will provide an answer" would be appreciated.

Believe me, I'm on your side on this one. Their customer support is usually much better than that.
