Regular Season || Sim 82

Notes:

New Orleans, your file was outdated.
Chicago, only bold your actual changes. Do not just bold the entire thing.

Long Time coming but we get a W.

12-97 win over LAL. With both teams zoning, this became a three point contest, one we won very easily. The Lakers actually won the possession battle by a lot but just couldn't buy a bucket against our zone. Lowlights for the Lakers included 13-36 shooting for Mudiay, 5-15 for Lacey, and 2-14 for Jakarr Sampson. But Monk and Troy were scorching hot and we got well rounded performances from several others.

Monk: 29 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, 9-15 FG, 9-14 3P
Troy: 22 points, 7 rebounds, 8-12 FG, 5-7 3p
Looney: 22 points, 7 rebounds, 9-17 FG
Bender: 15 points, 8 assist, 7 rebounds, 7-9 FG
Mika: 6 points, 14 rebounds

I'm sorry was on the phone and couldn't remember which DC I had set up before. I'm really sorry.

We lost this one but overall I'm happy with this season. So many injuries, I'm having a lot of fun competing in the East all the way to the very last game to see if we can secure a postseason spot. Pretty amazing how deep the East is right now, I'm glad to be part of this ferocious battle!

3 games to go, we need as many wins as possible to secure our spot!

Went down to the Suns by 10 effectively ending our chance at the top seed. It was a pretty good game though and would be a great series with Taylor and Westbrook playing more minutes.

That experimental stretch where we were playing .500 ball really cost us in the end but the main thing is we'll head into the playoffs with a top 3 seed and fully healthy as with the battle for 1st seed done, guys will be benched (maybe activated for the last game if we can dislodge the Thunder for the 2nd seed).

Few games to go yes but first time since we won the title we'll enter the post season healthy and without a core piece (or pieces), injured.

Beat the tanking pacers behind a career night of Knox. Sadly lost Michineau, Lessort and lance in that game for 10 days each though. Thst resulted in a super bad outing against Atlanta (despite another strong one by knox). The loss doesn't matter much as we are locked as 2nd, but I think the guys will miss the first 1 or 2 games of the playoffs (?).

Highlights:
Michineau 14 points (7/8), 17 assists (1 to), 6 rebounds
Knox 40 points (13/19, 13/14 FT) 9 rebounds 2 steals game 1, 27 points (8/15, 11/14 FT), 1 steal
Hlinason 20 points 7 rebounds a steal a block
Boston Celtics "HoF":
PG G. Dragic <> 2013 - 2015
PG R. Westbrook <> 2016 - 2019
PG M. Conley <> 2018 - 2020

Orlando Magic - 66

Andrew Wiggins - 16 pts, 1 stl, 2 blk
Josh Jackson - 9 pts, 5 reb
George DePaula - 8 pts, 7 ast
Joel Embiid - 8 pts, 5 reb, 3 blk

Brooklyn Nets - 116

Rashad Vaughn - 23 pts (7-13 3PT), 1 stl, 1 blk
DeAndre Ayton - 18 pts, 13 reb, 1 blk
Pascal Siakam - 18 pts, 4 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk
D'Angelo Russell - 15 pts, 3 reb, 6 ast, 1 blk
Malachi Richardson - 13 pts, 3 reb, 2 stl
Myles Turner - 13 pts, 9 reb

We got a 50-point W over the Magic by zoning them hard. They shot 9-33 from deep (27%) and just 34% overall with only 7 free throw attempts. We grabbed 22 more boards than Orlando, turned it over 10 less times and we shot very well on our home floor.

We are now tied with Chicago for the 6th seed and have a shot to grab that 5th seed in the playoffs.

Another L, this time to Detroit, looks like we will miss the playoffs as we have completely collapsed after Rivers went down with the injury.

2-0 sim against New York and the bench of Boston.
Looks we dominated both games, fouled it little bit too much in Boston though

NOP vs GSW
86 - 117

There's nothing much to say here. Chandler Parsons scored the highest on the Pels with 19.
