So you are suggesting that after the trade deadline to bump up the amount of days per sim from 3 to 4 to get to the playoffs faster, right?

If so, I am indifferent either way. Some will look at it and say "I'm out of the playoffs anyways so let's just get to the offseason as fast as possible so we can draft and do free agency." Others will say "I'm fighting for a playoff spot/seeding in my conference and need to win every game possible so more days is going to give me less of a chance to game plan for each game."

Moving the league days faster would create more work for the admins on the scouting front and require GMs to write more articles in fewer days. One month takes ~2 real life weeks to complete on 3 days/sim while it would be ~10 real life days to sim through a month's time with 4 days/sim, that's including weekends with no sims.

Again, I'm indifferent to the idea. I'm active enough to get my articles written and scouting in but I know that it could be a headache for others.

No need to do it, I mean, we run a game month every 15 days.. That's a lot, IMO..

I have to agree. Nothing but the off season to focus on but I still like seeing what my guys can do in their remaining games.

End of season is like 10th of April IRL - so less than 3 weeks
AI am not sure it would be worth it.

Curious to see how fast the playoffs will be simmed though? How did you manage last year?

During the playoffs (most likely) we will SIM through the weekends. So 7 games the week = 1 round per week. But I need to talk to the SIM department first.
Also we have still several scouting periods left and workouts + interviews. Ive some idea's how I can make the playoff time more interesting for lottery teams, but nothing concrete yet. Need to take a look how much time I will have to do something like a "media day".

Do you guys have any idea's how I can make the PO time more interesting for lottery teams? If yes shoot me a message. But keep in mind Ive to work, to finish a paper and need to write thesis. So please no too time consuming idea's, haha.
