2-2 Sim

Fun start to the preseason, losses to BKN and CLE, wins against BOS and PHI. About what we expected, Justin Patton seems to be off to a great start using a Post/Attack offense, Little showed up and our rookie Kai Jones put up 14/5 w/ 1.5 blks in just 24 minutes over 4 games. Not bad.

Fun sim

Tre Mann already looks like a solid contributer who I tried trading up for in the 2nd round. Fortunately got lucky and signed him undrafted! Loving his passing and everything he brings to the table in only the 12mpg he gets during Luka's water break.

I see Sheppard shooting like shit and I knew that the second I drafted him. Knew I would need at least 6 instructions on him. But once I fix him, I am already excited about his potential in the lineup.

Last but not least, I have a deep team filled with players who can score and play defense. A nice mix of everything needed. Only loss was on the road to Memphis 149-139.

Again preseason is fun to experiment with.

Damn near a perfect sim putting up 109 and holding teams to 98 a game. Even if people are experimenting needed to see it on paper at least one time. Porter at C might really be a revelation as his FTs have exploded. Bench clearly needs a pg but nothing I can do about calling him from d-league plus probably good I learn who can pretend to be one. Romeo is so close just needs to refine his shot selection some. Hoping to use most of my instructions working on the role players and bench this season.

Langford 18pts 8ast 5rebs 1.5stls 41%fg
Porter 35pts 9rebs 2blks 67% 3pt
Kuzma 11pts 4rebs 1.5 stl 67% 3pt
Kortmaz 11pts 4rebs 1.5stl 44% 3pt
SJJ 13pts 8rebs 55%fg

Our "ultra bully ball" lineup of Mane/Knight/Lofton/Moneke/Lawson that really shouldn't have worked... kinda worked, as we went 3-1.

Mane looks way better than expected. He won't keep shooting 50+ % from 3, but his 19.5ppg on 51/53/56 shooting, along with over 3 steals per game are all pretty great.

Lofton got us 20/9/4 on 56%, Knight 21/5/4 on 55%, but of course are complete liabilities defending the drive. Might've been best to push them up a position and swap Moneke for a SG, as Moneke did nothing.

Lawson put up a very predictable 15/9, and while he didn't shoot great, he got to the line a lot.

--

Huge shout out to Mika for his 15/9/0 as well... oh wait those are his shooting splits

Just testing things, so not reading much into that 3-2 start.

1-4 Sim, but we aren't going to be good; that is known, so not upset about that.
1. Smaligic is as good as advertised!
2. Cade seems to be the whole package; the only fix is making sure he can fix his shot, which should be helped with tuning.

0-5 to start Preseason lol

Need to see what these young blood have in their chest and looked like they are not ready yet. From individual standpoint, i like what i saw from Tsalmpouris, he doesn't have the volume but he seems efficient enough to warrant playing time. Liddell's defense is already top notch leading the team in shotblocks with 1.000 STP and .89 PA/SF.
Small sample size but still good to see. Hifi is terrible offensively but his foul drawing ability is something. Might have to fix his preference to be respectable. Sotto did just fine as he completed 5 games without fouling out and not getting injured lol

5–0, I don’t think I have experienced something like this in this league since I was born. It’s just preseason, as we will continue to test more things, but so far so good especially with our defense, turnover battle wins, and foul drawing.

We didn't play too well mainly because Dozier really struggled, but wow Brown and Gettings put up some numbers. Both are beasts on the boards. Levi is going to become our #2 scorer likely this season.

3-1 with Hagans, Giddey and Brown the main contributors. Pretty sure that will look way different during the regular season.

I know it's preseason but Jovic is already averaging a triple-double. Unstoppable.
