Little too late

Post by Andrewu91 »

Before Nassir Little could reach his potential, the Knicks decided it was best to trade him. Even though he is "super raw", his potentials are off the charts, and an All-Star quality player.

Unfortunately the needs for the Knicks start with adding three point shooting and defense. With new additions coming in: Malik Pope and Allen Crabbe, both can switch and play different positions as needed. Add that to KCP, Johnathon Simmons, Terrance Ferguson, GDP, and you have a bunch of defenders to throw at teams.

In addition to Nassir Little, Maodo Lo will be leaving the City. He isn't much better than Malik Beasley, but can be a great 6th man for some teams. His scoring ability is very nice. Unfortunately his contract doesn't reflect that. This move will save us roughly 2 million in cap.

That's all for now, and maybe the last move of the off season for us...

Depth Chart entering next season:

GDP / TJ McConnell
Terrance Ferguson / Jonathon Simmons
Allen Crabbe / KCP / Malik Pope
Zion Williamson / Vince Hunter
Jaren Jackson Jr. / WCS

Crabbe's low usage rate is a great addition; Zion is going to truly become a Superstar next season.

Crabbe was perfect for us, if not a little bit streaky. He should flourish playing next to a true point guard in GDP.

Yeah. He sort of reminds me of Demarre Carrol, who is a great glue guy. Defense isn't as good, but hoping to see similar traits/stats.
