Well here we are, Game 7 between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks.
In CSL History, have the Knicks ever advanced to the 2nd Round? Recent history says they have missed the playoffs for the past four seasons. But history always says, they haven't been a team who has had any success in the CSL.
Game 7 tonight at Miami.
When we think of the Miami Heat, what's the first thought we think of? Their stubborn but smart general manager.
Did you know that Andrewu91 has twice been a assistant manager for the Heat? He even advised that Jarret Allen would be beneficial for the Heat, which ultimately produced that trade. Unfortunately, he wanted more control, but Silo didn't want to give in... Until the Knicks job opened and Silo granted semi- full control of the Heat to Andrewu91.
It was a little too late at that stage...
But here are are. Game 7 between the teams. The master vs. the prestige.
How has this series ranked so far? Let's check the stats.
Ben Simmons is a special player. He has been limited somewhat
23.5 ppg -9.2rpg-5.2apg. but on 44.8% vs. his season average of overage 50% shooting.
There is no way you can stop that guy. He will get his. Think of Kobe Bryant. Sure you can try to stop him, but you never can. But as long as you can limit him somewhat, you always have a chance...
But the real surprise so far, is Kyle Kuzma. I can admit, I never expected him to blow up.
Stats: 20.3ppg on an very efficient 53% shooting.
He is very hard to handle. He can play multiple positions, and even can shoot the three ball if needed. No wonder he will ask for a hefty contract this off season...
For the Knicks right now, it's all about grinding and putting pressure on the opposing team. Tonight we will try something different because it feels like the right choice. Regardless, this has been a hard battle, and tonight someone will reach the finish line..

Re: Game 7
So many close series and this one is highly entertaining.
I thought the Knicks are ready to put up a fight, but not to 7.
Seems that GDP changed the team balance quite a bit.
Kuzma is not too surprising too me, watching the Heat closely, I saw him developing into an excellent 2nd option. Who is able to take over in case Simmons has a rare off night.

Re: Game 7
Really impressive showing from the Knicks. The Heat were absolutely dominant all year long, so seeing them lose in Round 1 would be quite the shock.

You have a puncher's chance, which is what you were hoping for. Won't be easy on the road though.
