This team made some noise in the playoffs last year under the previous GM. If you can continue that, this team is custom built to contend now and should be a top 4 team in the West.

Smart is a true two way leader for this team
Ingles is a very good piece next to him, and the Niko / Tavares duo complements each other very well. You can definitely make some noise in the West this year!

.. and yes Tavares in place of Cousins to be considered, I just believe that I need more defensive player at post. However, likely they will get equal share of time at the start of the season.

I think this team still has enough talent for the playoffs. I traded your pick next year for Metu hoping the Blazers would stay in contention. I knew it was risky with an unstable GM, but I have faith in you!

Still a very solid starting 5 and you would expect the Blazers to make the post season no worries. I'd say towards the back end but nothing to say they can't finish 4th or 5th.

As long as you have Smart you have a legit chance at making some noise. Ingles also transitioned very well to new engine
