As a Laker fan it pains me to say this, but I would love to follow an early 2000s Jail Blazers or Kings story line. Or if you want to change the time frame since that might be too similar in time to the one you just did, maybe a 2006 Blazers, 2010 Pacers, 2009 Bulls, 2004 Suns, 2005 Nuggets? Taking over these teams right before they became really good but just could never make it out of their conference, that could be a really good read. Seeing you try to get them over that last and most difficult obstacle.
