Trade Office during draft

Why do we keep it closed anyway? In the NBA we hear about draft day trades all night long, it just doesn't become official until draft is over. I think there's no reason to deny agreements being posted, just mind that the mother teams slotted for the picks must make their selections and announce it has been traded so it doesn't become a mess.
But there's not a reason to not be able to post a deal during the draft. All the excitement goes away

I was actually just thinking the same thing the other day. I don’t have an issue changing the rule and having the trades posted if they can but can see how it could take away from the pick once we know what has been traded.
