Really good chemistry is the saving grace of how horrid last season was.

Young guys:
Brooks, Rahkman, Brissett, Thompson IV

Vets:
MKG, Boban, Wiltjer, Dotson

On the block for an upgraded PF/C who can rebound.

If I like the player enough, the only pick I can offer is swapping 2028 1st+2030 1st for a 2029 1st

MKG + a 1st (2028+2030 1st for a 2029) is on the table for big man. Brooks or Rahkman on the table in place of the pick if you prefer that.

Needs to be a 20+ mpg guy who is at least two of the following: good rebounder, good defender, good shooter.

MKG might be on his way out soon. Might be interested in swapping him for another expiring + 2nd(s). If you have interest, let me know ASAP.

all quiet on the trade front so far. I'd like to find a 15-20 min C that can rebound, preferably stretches the floor a little bit as well.

I would like to take this moment to mention that Denzel Livingston will not be traded for a backup SG.

MKG, Brooks, and a 2028+2030-for-2029 1st round pick swap are on the block. Looking for rebounding and shooting in the frontcourt to space things out even more for KAT and co.

Dotson or even Reed can be moved in this package for a very good player.

MKG, Boban, and Armoni Brooks have been traded.

A cheap backup center is probably all I'm really looking for at this point.

Glenn Robinson III (efficient shooter) and Kyle Wiltjer (low vol shooter that can block some shots) are available for just about anything.

For better players, I am willing to send a 2028 and 2030 1st for a 2029 1st (nets you 1 1st).

If combined with the existing trade, I believe I am able to send GR3+Wiltjer and receive about $7.48M

Wiltjer and GR3 verballed for deadline trade.

Unless I get something nice for Rahkman, Dotson, Thompson IV, or Brissett, I don't expect to trade anymore this season.

Might as well throw PF Oshae Brissett on the block and see if there's any real interest in him

Brissett is a defensive specialist who can play man to man, block, and steal, and completely stays out of the way on offense.

The tentative plan is to almost completely run it back with Monk and re-signing Towns and Winslow. I may try and bring back everyone (including Livingston, Davis, Reed, Dotson, even Ingles), or make changes to the supporting cast.

I have no intention of taking a step back yet unless the return is beyond fantastic. Despite our cosmic meltdown in the playoffs, I have complete faith in the core of this team and really want to see it in action in PB22 before blowing anything up.

I have traded pick #30 for an early 2nd this year and a future pick, so I do have those picks available to trade.

On the table:
PG Denzel Livingston (tough)
SF/SG Davon Reed (tough)
SF/SG Damyean Dotson
SG Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman
PG Trevon Duval

S&T SF Joe Ingles
S&T PF/C Josh Davis

2031 1st HOU
2028 2nd in early 30s
2031 2nd

Held off on a few conversations due to some exploratory Monk talks, but as nothing materialized, we're fully focused on running it back with Monk/KAT/Winslow and maybe changing up the supporting cast a bit.

Livingston and Reed are well valued, but either could be had for the right price. Dotson, Duval, and Rahkman in the same boat but less expensive to get. Josh Davis and Joe Ingles are readily available in S&T talks, Ingles more so than Davis.

Malik Monk

Karl-Anthony Towns - will be brought back, no questions asked

Justise Winslow - will be brought back, though I'm not completely closing the door on a S&T. Let me know ASAP if you are interested. Know it will not be cheap.

High Level Starters:

Denzel Livingston - checks every box you want in a PG. Not actively shopping, but not opposed to packaging him with others for a single better player or getting some future picks and cap flexibility.

Davon Reed - perfect 3&D guy for this team. Similar to Livingston, probably won't be trading aside from a few specific situations, but picks+exp are of interest here.

Role Players:

Josh Davis S&T - talk to me, I like his rebounding, but he's available to sign and trade for an asset

Joe Ingles S&T - I like his 3&D game and not fazed by his likely fluke shooting last season, but can sign and trade for an asset

Damyean Dotson - 3s and defense on a cheap contract, what's not to like?

Trevon Duval - elite floor general who can't do a lick of anything else, tied up on a cheap deal

Prospects:

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman - likely to see more action next season, ready to unleash the shooter

Robert Woodard II - versatile wing prospect

Nahziah Carter - insurance for Reed/Dotson who can hit some 3s and be a decent defender

Towns is maxed, Winslow is signing the same contract next sim. We are about $12M below the hard cap with 8 players rostered.

If you have interest in a Josh Davis or Joe Ingles S&T, hit me up.
