Blazers Block
No
Laurynas Birutis - Aleks Maric 2.0 is a Blazer for life
Jaylen Hoard - Guys who can shoot from all 3 levels and defend don't go anywhere
Tyrese Haliburton - See Hoard. He can also pass and handle.
Franz Wagner - Efficient stretch 4s who can actually play some defense are unicorns
Hamidou Diallo - We built the offensive scheme around him and he's my favorite successful project ever in DDS
1st round picks
Trade Restricted - Day 30
Milos Teodosic - Can still provide offense and passing even at 34. De facto two-year contract (Third year TO)
Goodluck Okonoboh - Two-year cap room deal ($2.8 million/year) for defense and good enough rebounding. Also won't eat shots from your scorers
Keita Bates-Diop - Decent 3&D bench option on two-year minimum salary deal and has pretty good shooting numbers at the CSL level when he's gotten minutes.
Available
Jordan Mickey - I'll listen, but I really see him slotting into a 6th man backup big role, considering how much he outplayed his contract this year and we've got him locked up long-term.
Finn Delany - Has good potential to be an all-around player and possible fifth starter. Has made big gains in both TCs
Jack Salt - A meme
Cameron Oliver - Multi-position player with elite DI/IQ and excellent pass/handle at most spots. Long-term team-friendly contract. Will score more aggressively due to high Pass. Might be better in new engine.
Adam Woodbury - Great rebounder. Got a boost in potential
.
Looking For
Bench guys that fit our team and window
Picks are always welcome
So basically, we're looking at smaller deals involving bench players. No starters will be dealt.

Re: Blazers Block
I have an offer for Ingles I'm considering and am starting the process of reviewing packages for Smart.
A reminder that Tavares and Mirotic continue to be time-sensitive offers.

Re: Blazers Block
Ingles has officially been verbaled. Discussions on Smart are heating up, so get your interest in.
Update on Positional Needs as Relates to Possible Smart Deals
PG - Won't happen. It'd need to be a young stud and no one is going to pay that for Smart. *I* wouldn't, so I don't expect y'all to.
SG - A clear-cut good young starter is of interest, but not a pressing need.
SF - Obviously a hole. Young starter also more obvious.
PF - Whether I retain Mirotic depends on a few other balls in the air. A young starter or heir is definitely a need, though.
CE - My biggest hole. The current leading discussion on Smart involves a high-quality young big man who would step in and start immediately.
First round picks are always good bait, though their value will obviously depend on projected landing spant.

Re: Blazers Block
Okay, so after a wild night of swings and craziness, we've pretty much settled into our next year gameplan. Original post has been updated with available pieces and items sought after a whole lot of movement that will indeed transform this franchise into a rebuild.

Re: Blazers Block
We're talking with something like 4-5 teams about Smart now, so he will end up getting moved. It's just a question of for which package.

Re: Blazers Block
Smart is on the cusp of a verbal (a complicated blockbusting deal that will change a lot of players' fortunes if gone through)
Williams has had some conversations
So we're pretty much looking like the wholesale makeover will be imminent soon, with a possibility of Brunson/Mirotic/Clarkson/Bairstow as the only holdovers from this season, and even Bairstow is not a guarantee.

Re: Blazers Block
Deal didn’t happen so back to reviewing offers for Smart. Grant Williams also has two interested teams.

Re: Blazers Block
Crabbe didn't want to go NYK, so Ingles is back on the block. Also willing to listen in on offers for Mirotic, too, and downshift to complete rebuild.
