I think a lot of the doubters are going to be served some nice humble pie by this class. Either they didn't scout the shooting ratings or don't quite understand how the ratings/ball actions translate to the game. I'm very confident in the guys I drafted.

I'm ready. This draft sucks. Champ to champion.

Also these ratings are pre training camp, so I’m sure it will look a lot better afterwards.

Very happy with Londale. He is immediately ready to start with his DI and energy. 70/99 is amazing for a big. His rebounding and defense has potential and 47 scr was more than I expected. Wish he could block more, but a shotblocker can be my next goal.

FYI, every rookie seems to have 99 endurance right now. That column is usually not filled in (idk how the admins usually do it) and I'm not sure what is expected to happen during TC.

Yeah, that will be fixed shortly to what it was pre-draft.

Hunter, Christ, Melli, Owens, Varnado - add efficiency to whatever else they bring.
Yeah, this is probably actually the most efficient class that we have ever had in the league. I think this class was a perfect addition to the league and will help a lot of teams in the long run with key starters/role players. There aren't any Luka's here, but you can't and shouldn't have that in every draft as those players are rare IRL too.

I actually agree with this. A lot of players are just efficient players who know how to play within their roles. Even if they're not spectacular, there were useful players heading deep into the 2nd round.

This to me is very important. I would love to see more useful specialists available in the 2nd round.

I often see Trade Blocks where GMs say they don't care about 2nd rounders. Which is a pity because 2nd rounders are part of CSL and I love it that we can draft some decent players in there - even if these are career bench players. At least career CSL bench players not D-League scrubs.

So kudos to draft team for that and keep it up.
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

I am curious if there is data out there on what percentage of 2nd round picks stick in the nba longer than 3 seasons. I'm under the assumption that 2nd round picks are largely worthless and I think csl 2nd rounders should be the same barring that rare player that is provided a boost.

Or if anyone has done tests on super raw players and how many of them reach their potentials as that is an option as well

You are for the most part right (imo) but it's still a little funny to call 2nd rounders mostly worthless when the current nba mvp was a 2nd round pick
