Teams/ cities INCLUDED NY LA DET NO among others but that hasn't been completely confirmed.

Yes the rumors are true that Mark (Williams) has voiced his displeasure with the team's development, his role, as well as our upcoming trade.

Rumors at the trade deadline:

Knicks GM:

"This trade deadline, all I'm looking for is more depth if possible, without losing any quality guys like Hamilton or Mathews.

Also looking for a few instructions for a 2nd round pick, two years away.

That's where I am at right now with everything. We are confident if healthy that we can compete and match up with every team in the Eastern Conference."

Reports out of New Orleans say it’s “increasingly unlikely” Malik Monk or Mohamed Bamba are dealt by the deadline. “A lot of teams have the impression that Lauri set the baseline for what it would take to acquire Monk or Bamba, and that’s not accurate,” said a team source. “Both those guys are younger and we don’t have the financial angle with them that we did Lauri.”

Sources: League GMs are wondering what's going on in NO. Rival Western GM, "They have to know with older players every season is lost value as they get older and younger high potential players come. Waiting till the offseason is surprising in a sellers market."

I know this segment is the rumor mill but I do know that this is a fact that Orlando and New Orleans have engaged in talks to send LaMelo Ball to the Pelicans to pair with rookie Victor Wembanyama.

I can't say this is going to happen as New Orleans was not on LaMelo's list however, this would certainly be a fantastic situation for him to land if Wemby reaches his vast potential.

Last hours before "the decision"

The decision to trade Jarrett Allen, Tony Bradley for Laurynas Birutis, instructions and 6 million expiring are winding down.

The Knicks love the thought of turning Laurynas Birutis into a 24-10 2nd option. On the other side, there are durability concerns and free throw concerns about the big man.

Losing Bradley hurts also, but there are a few similar players like him, Hamilton for example.

In the end the Knicks will probably pass on the offer unless they are given a few more pieces like a pick or more instructions.
