The Orlando Sentinel: Not So Magic Report

With the season finally (and we do mean FINALLY) in the books, the Magic close out yet another abysmal year with another losing record of 15-67. That's right 67 losses.

Gone are the days when the team was aiming for 60+ wins during the stretch when Paul George was leading the team (although George has made a return in the final days of a surefire Hall of Fame career) the team has not been the same since.

Many in the press as well as fans have been calling for the job of GM WillyJakkz who has stated emphatically that he will remain with the team for the duration of the draft to make sure he can get the team into a better competitive position.

The Magic currently have Kristaps Porzingis, Joel Embiid, and Andrew Wiggins locked into contracts going into next season while Milos Teodosic will become a Free Agent.

With 4 1st Rd Picks the Magic certainly have the ammunition to make moves or even a drastic overhaul with the the roster.

With no word as of yet how the Magic will proceed, we will have to stay tuned until the off-season to see which direction they take.
