lakers 4-10 but far from out
The lakers are 4-10 to start the season and its not the start they wanted but they believe its the same brutal schedule they had last year and they have actually won more games then at the same time last year . But its not all doom and gloom in lakerland and lets look at the positives:

Ky Bowman

its still only 14 games in but bowman continues his hot form from last year and playing 1 min less per game but scoring a little bit more - his stats 25.8ppg ( 9th in the league ) and 6.6 aspg ( 15th in the league ) he is stocktons weapon of choice even if others disagree because of his lack of d.

Nicolo Melli

Again still early but i think he will continue to have better production then last year , 11.1 ppg 4.9 rbpg and 2nd in the league in 3pt shooting at .581 and fg% is .543. he had a career high 31 points in a win over denver and last sim poured in 20 but his production is still inconsistant for stocktons liking.

Team Stats:

-4th in the league in opponents hitting 3pt % .327%
-4th in the league in allowing there opp to grab only 41.2 rbpg
-8th in the league in 3pt percentage

The lakers still need to improve in other areas such as ppg as they are 3rd last in league but its a work in progress.

The core is still young and you have every reason to be patient.

I don't remember how/why you wound up with Exum, but he seems out of place. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Lakers active in the trade market come Day 30.

Three way with ATL and clippers.. I actually think he's a good asset because he's more of a inside shooter where bowman is and outside shooter.

Yea and NWB was a great pick. Bowman-NWB-Rui-Bell-Collins is a solid core. If I were you I'd be shopping hard for a more dominant Center. Shooting is easy to find, interior D to protect Bowman is harder + more valuable.

Anyway, good core and definitely better than 4-10 suggests. Best of luck

Yup patience is key. I really think Bell could play a bigger role on this team, but just my 2 cents :)

Young team = bad road record. The Knicks were horrible on the road my first season, and average last season. I added a few more vets and suddenly we are pretty good on the road.

With streaks and young teams, they are bound to lose games. I checked your roster out, and I see a lot of 1-2 year players playing major minutes.

With that said, I wouldn't worry yet. Another scoring option who plays defense down low next to Rui would help a lot.

Plus good strategy helps, I've noticed.

I think the team record will improve as the season progresses. It may be a tough schedule combined with early season blues where you are trying to figure out lineups and who fits where
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

I think that heavy road schedule is making it look worse than it actually is. I think by the end of the year you will be in the playoff race tbh.

Agree with the statements above. A mix of young players and a road heavy schedule are not a recipe to start a season hot.
