The sub-matrix and strategies were set up as follows:
- Starters set to 28, Reserves set from 10-16 in the submatrix.
- Offensive Pace, OREB, DREB set to 10; Defensive Intensity and FCP were set to 1, the rest was set to 5 for both teams. Offensive Set was set to Seven Seconds and Defense was set to Passive.
- The Philadelphia 76ers represent the Eastern All Stars and the Los Angeles Lakers represents the Western All Stars.
Like the in-game all-Star game, this game also was a very close affair. No team was able to separate at any point during the match.
The big difference was that this time the All-Stars decided to show some signs of defense. In the end the Eastern All-Stars were able to win again over the West. Luka was the men for the Western All-Stars, scoring 36 points. But the the East succeeded with a better team effort, 7 players scoring in double figures.
