In a move that comes after the heels of the 2028 CSL Draft, the Orlando Magic have decided to part ways with long tenured HC Jeff Van Gundy.
Jeff Van Gundy
"It was only a matter of time", said GM WillyJakkz to the press.
"We have not been performing well for several seasons and we'd discussed going a different direction with the HC several times throughout the years and now is as good a time as any considering the youth we've now accumulated in the Draft."
"Jeff has been great for us and has been here for the duration of my tenure as GM and we wish him well in his futured return to broadcasting or another sideline."
"Listen, they're no hard feelings. I was paid to do a job and as of late quite frankly I've stinked... Is "stinked" even a word? Or I've stunk", stated Van Gundy.
"They have a slew of talent here and I believe the guys may need a new voice to get the best out of them. This job can be stressing at times when you feel you're not getting the best out of the talent you have on hand and that's on me."
Rumors swirl as who the next coach will be as the Magic have sent out a wealth of calls to prospective coaches and their agents at the 11th hour to get a new coach for the team.
Speculation is the Magic are reaching out to Nate McMillan and Brian Hill.

Change of scenery, hopefully that ignites the new looking Magic to some wins and youth development on their quest to return to the playoffs! Good luck, Willy

I love the overhaul in one season, just a great job and look forward to watching this team flourish. The mix of vets and youth is interesting, we'll see if you sell high on Porzingis and what role Wiggin's and Teodosic has if you choose to retain his services. Fun team.

Can't wait to see a more active Willy, the Orlando Magic need a return to their former glory days.

I like McMillan and hpe he can turn the ship around.
The moves so far for the Magic look good, now he has to make em play!
