The Mavericks are back to the playoffs by the hand of Sharkn20 and Luka Doncic. These 2 men are on a mission to earn some respect in the CSL circles. Sharkn20 in his 2nd season at the helm of the Mavericks has achieved to put his main star Luka Doncic in the mouths of every GM in the league and lots of press conference fellows, the most exciting? This is his first Draft in which he has full scouting and a 1st round pick, albeit a late one, and 1st and 2nd round picks moving forward, all the players are now chose or possibly being extended by himself, so now Sharkn20 has full grip in the roster and no longer penalties from the old GM.

Now Luka, oh Luka, how happy you have made the fans this season so far. Doncic did work in his preferences all season to be the best version of himself, he took the CSL by storm and did set, not one but TWO, all time scoring points in a game records, his end line is just fantastic 39.9 ppg, 5.7 apg, 6.4 rpg, 1.8 spg and 0.7 bpg. 44.8% FG, 86.3% FT, 34.6% 3P. 39.1 PER, 53.4% TS, 31.5 EFF, pretty much all personal bests. In just 32.6 mpg, we expect Luka to carry the load in the playoffs, and maybe set some new records.

But this Mavericks are not only Luka, there are some more players, who are ready to contribute and have been the whole season, De'Andre Hunter is growing as a 2nd scorer, the 2nd year player is ready for the challenge and continue improving to be of significant use in the near future, not quite yet though, Kulboka is like a machine gun from the bench, Dellavedova is a fantastic option to help defending the best opposite guard, and in the posts Allen and Siakam give stability and veteran presence on the boards and in the zone. Diallo and Tillie are above average bench players and give depth to the rotation. We are very optimistic with this bunch giving some war in 7 game series.

Now the concerns, the Mavericks have been lucky with injuries during the season and the starting five have been able to start for pretty much of the season, now come playoff time there are a couple of injuries in big time players, which will affect the outcome of the first round against the lucky Nuggets. They will have the referees in their side as it happened in the last 2 games against that franchise and we will miss both Hunter and Kulboka for the series, which can prove determinant, we will see how the team will adjust without their 2 main SFs.

Luka had probably the second best scoring regular season in league history behind that one season from KD where he played Wilt minutes, he's going to be a terror in the playoffs

Can't wait to see Luka set some records as well. Also hoping that in the next engine that go-to scorers like Porter and Doncic are less oppressive.
