Yep, volume of drives in general is very low. At least according to the drives metric

Yes that’s why I want my biigs big and fat. Hassan and Tryggvi are doing super well in PA/SF. Given they face a ton of shots, I don’t care much about the two drives at all

Btw, when doing camp I remember the Weight Training section said lose offseason weight while the DDS3 said gain weight. Hopefully Simmer will not need to adjust and all will lose weight. Let's see

Really? Did it say that? I actually wanted a lot players to gain weight haha. Does that mean we now would have to edit the ones that needs to gain weight or was there an option for both? Rushed a tem out today so didn’t have a close eye on it :O

yep, look:

So yeah, I also wanted to add some weight but a bit confused on how it is actually going to work

If this is indeed to lose weight and is completely opposite to DDS3, perhaps we'll change the camp slightly to Gain weight instead of Losing weight where Simmer will have to do some adjustments. Gary decided to confuse everyone :D

I did not notice this.... leave it to Gary to leave everything exactly the same except this

I'm going to make a note on my post who I wanted to lose weight and who I wanted to gain weight

UPDATE: I ran a test file training camp and it's exactly the same as before.

Image

15 weight training gains 5 pounds
20+ weight training gains 10 pounds
anything less and they stay the same

Yes, I noticed that when we made the switch in the GAH to 18 a couple of years ago, and the latest change to 19 confirmed that. There's a reason why I have been building these Bucks this way.

I think a big reason for that is the drive shot cap and the tendency for players to post up instead.

doesn't more Post up mean reasonably higher weight is better in the post both offensively and defensively?

I suppose this would be a pretty good thing to test at some point. May do something with a test file sometime during this season and see if I can find anything. If being fat helps you bully your way into the restricted area more often, that might be a good thing for a lot of bigs.

Do we know when the sim takes place? Preseason Sim 1 was dated for the 17/11 4pm which is a few hours from now but was run on the 16/11. Now Preaseason Sim 2 has 17/11 4pm as date as well. I would love to get a dc in but didnt get one as Preseason Sim 1 was dated for today and now Preaseason Sim 2 is dated for today as well but I had to leave for work as I thought Sim 2 will be at least a day later. Can we get an update in that regard?

Did somebody notice a trend with Turnovers being higher than usually? Even our League Leaders are 5 and above which is very high.

I remember last season there were a lot of statistical outliers early in the season that balanced out.

To a degree, I imagine a lot of teams are experimenting with things and giving more touches to players that don't usually get it (Okobo for my team)

But you are right, the TO/game leader board is out of control at the moment. 24 players with 4+ TO/game is a lot

Yeah, this will settle down as the season goes along, but we saw the same thing last year with a lot of stats. It seems this engine has players coming out of the gates hot and then they simmer down into their actual performance zone.

I just downloaded dds19.

I forget, how do I upload this league onto the game? Do I download the current file, and if so, where do I put it at.

And where how do I upload it onto the game?

Thanks
