Appreciate it!GreenBear wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 4:37 pmYeah, the admins will make a post shortly before Free Agency (I think it's usually called "contract decisions") where you can make a post with your team option decisions.Tulogit2Quit wrote: ↑Sat Oct 18, 2025 4:31 pm I've got 2 guys on my roster that I'm seeing with a team option (DeAaron Fox and Skal Labissiere). Is there a specific spot to post whether or not I'm going to exercise those team options? Or is there an option to do that in game?
After the season is over, the admins always make a post with the off-season schedule. My guess is they will make that post in the next couple days. Just keep an eye out for it. You have some time though.

Re: Stupid Questions Thread
Free Agency help:
Will being over the $90M threshold due to large Cap Holds (on guys like Bowman, Rabb) prevent us from being able to resign other players (Krejci, Kispert)?
Would also be great if someone could plainly explain the benefits and consequences of retaining or renouncing rights to UFAs w/ large salaries. I know retaining keeps their bird rights, which presumably makes them able to resign for cheaper? Does it have the drawback of making our salary cap higher, or does that only come into effect when the offseason is over?

No, only actual contracts will count towards the hard cap. Cap holds do not matter unless you are trying to operate below the cap or trying to match salaries in a trade using the under lux tax 150% rule

You just have to be very aware of your actual CAP situation and how much your salaries count against the hard cap. We will not allow a team to go over it to resign their own players or match offers.

I have a player that has a sore wrist and it says he is probable for 6 days. Will the game still play him while injured or should I move him out of my lineup to avoid further injury? Don't have a lot of experience with injuries in this engine

it's a toss up. sometimes they'll play just fine. sometimes they'll play badly and/or limited minutes. sometimes they just won't play.Tulogit2Quit wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 10:20 pm I have a player that has a sore wrist and it says he is probable for 6 days. I don't believe there's too much risk of reinjury, at least I haven't seen it. The bigger risk you take playing an injured guy is DDS F'ing up your depth chart if he can't go and forcing a SF in at C or whatever.

Re: Stupid Questions Thread
From the trade rules: "The consecutive picks rule applies where a team must have one 1st rounder every two years. Teams are not allowed to trade picks for the draft if it breaks the consecutive rule. For example, Team X has a 2014 first but no 2015 first. They cannot trade their 2016 first until they either receive a 2015 first or until the conclusion of the 2015 draft. "
Therefore, since I don't have my pick next year, I cannot trade my pick this year until the draft is over. Is that correct?

You can agree to a trade and draft the player the other team wants. Then trade hm after the draft.

Re: Stupid Questions Thread
So is it confirmed that auto TC does just as good of a job as manual ones? I was always under the assumption that's the case.

You have to check it sometimes it doesn't fill something in I've noticed if you just leave it to default. I go in and save each part of TC myself
