That can not happen anymore, so why not go back to the game?!
Well, we thought that was true but it was recently discovered that people can look up team pws so it actually is still a problem.

"Price driving" should be banned as a phrase. It doesn't exist. It's called a marketplace. If a team throws a bad contract to a player, that team has to live with it. If a team throws out 20 bad contracts, they have to live with whoever signs first. That's bad GMing, not illegal behavior or "hoarding".

Sounds like most of us are on the same page this year, thankfully. It was really dumb to hear people complaining last season about the simplest concepts. Let's have another fun offseason!

I voted for in-game Free Agency. The game still updates financials only in the season changeover, so less work. I also don't like the idea to offer several max offers at the same time, despite that would favor me this offseason as we will have a lot of room under the cap. And the system we're using, that is pretty good, though, does not take into account loyalty as a two-way rating so franchise loyalty is ignored.

Quick question: does the game take into account franchise loyalty?

I don't know, but given we are using our own system why not include it instead of looking only at some personality traits? I know it requires more work, but since our opinion was asked I just gave mine.

@admins, have we made a decision here? It will highly impact my decision whom to take at 13. Need to take into account contract decisions that depend a lot on what the max is for this year. Is it 13.x with the hybrid or is it 15.x with the game?

PS: are rookie salaries staying the same like last year? I expect it does because theyve been drafted in the new file?

Hi Camden,
the file is not yet advanced to the free agent stage.
The contract decisions for all teams have to be done first. As soon as FA starts you can look up the FA in game.
