L vs. MIL

Przemek Karnowski dropped 16/16....damn. We just didn't show up in this one. Joseph finished with 28/5/11 and dominated his matchup but we got destroyed on the boards, the Bucks had 65 rebounds.

Scraped out a win @OKC. 113-106.

This one is Kemba's. Super efficient night, and held Bledsoe down. Harden, Monk, and Looney were also pretty solid, but we are lucky SJJ is the only Thunder player who really showed up to the game. He torched us from start to finish- 36/15 and 3 steals- and he fouled out Eric Mika in just 5 minutes (!!!) of game time.

Kemba: 26 points, 4 assists, 10-15 FG, 2-2 3P
Harden: 25 points, 4 assists, 11-12 FT
Monk: 21 points, 3 blocks, 5-11 3P
Looney: 14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals

@Lakers next. We almost always drop a game to them each year no matter who's on the roster, but we'll see.

Finally won. Alkins was awesome and Hezonja got it going a bit after a slow start. Nice.

Slow start, but I know we're not as bad as our start. This isn't a bottom 3 team talent wise.

In other CSL News the Jazz with an injured Kyrie Irving starting with a broken finger only lose by 1 to the Clippers?

Kyrie ran around the court for 39 minutes, going 0-3 with nothing on the box score. Although what you say is accurate, it's missing context. He did nothing.

This happens any time a player has a "broken ___" injury. They rack up regular minutes but stand around and do nothing until you manually take them out.

Sometimes it adds days onto their recovery time.

His finger didn't stop him from playing defense it seems, he locked Trice and Sexton down totally lol

We were no rival for Kuzma, I wosh I could get the ball out of Larkin's hands and give it to someone else, why in the hell did he shot 26 times? U are a PG! U are supposed to create, not to finish it!

A 14 point loss against the Nets in Charlotte. I think this one's on me not using the right strategy as we let them drop 25 threes on us.

Dunn: 29 pts, 3 ast, 4 reb, 1 blk
Poltl: 15 pts, 1 ast, 11 reb, 2 stl
Young: 14 pts, 4 ast, 4 reb, 1 stl

Road loss in Philly. We could not contain Parker at all, he kept the designated defender in KCP on the bench with foul trouble most of the game. Overall we fouled a bit too much but what really did us in was the rebound deficit.

2pt loss at home to Detroit. Need to tweak the defense a bit more looking at the box score this is one we should have had and will regret. Elfrid went 1-10 which isn't like him. Gotta get this team in a groove! Good win Detroit. Hopefully we can get the next one in our series.

Brooklyn Nets - 107

DeAndre Ayton - 36 pts, 9 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk
Rashad Vaughn - 17 pts, 3 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl
Malachi Richardson - 15 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast
Myles Turner - 11 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast, 2 blk

Washington Wizards - 97

Shabazz Napier - 25 pts, 2 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl
Miles Teodosic - 18 pts, 9 ast, 1 stl
Ike Anigbogu - 15 pts, 9 reb, 3 ast

Who cares if we can't win at home because we came to Washington and got a great win behind DeAndre The Giant's 36 point outburst. We shot 50% from the floor but even more concerning was allowing them to shot nearly 55% from the floor. If it weren't for us attempting 13 more free throws this one would have been tight down the stretch.

----------

Brooklyn Nets - 111

Malachi Richardson - 33 pts (11-18 3PT), 2 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl
Rashad Vaughn - 27 pts (7-14 3PT), 6 reb, 1 stl, 4 blk
Tyler Ennis - 19 pts, 5 reb, 17 ast, 2 stl
Myles Turner - 10 pts, 7 reb

Charlotte Hornets - 97

Kris Dunn - 29 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast, 1 blk
Jakob Poltl - 15 pts, 11 reb, 2 stl
Trae Young - 14 pts, 5 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl

The box score shows we shot zero free throws. I have to imagine we got zoned very, very hard and that's why we launched FIFTY three-pointers and knocked down half of them. Going +54 on three-point shooting is a crazy stat lol. Last game we won because of DeAndre Ayton dominating inside. This game we won because Richardson and Vaughn went bananas from deep. Ennis with a monster double-double is a great sign as well.

First time in a while we've been under .500 but last years title gives us that leeway where it's not really that big an issue. Yet anyway haha. Could be fun gunning for a late seed then upping the ante come of the post season :D
