DEN 114:90 CHA

What a terrible night for the Hornets. Apart from Dunn and Poltl, nobody showed incentive to get a home W here. Well, Reggie Jackson was okay but that's why he's now out with a 2-day injury. Terrible shooting and we lost the board battle.

Dunn: 27 pts, 3 ast, 2 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk (10-16 FGM-A)
Poltl: 12 pts, 1 ast, 7 reb, 2 blk
Jackson: 12 pts, 3 reb, 1 stl
Kanter: 7 pts, 1 ast, 9 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk

4 of our next 5 games are away games so we should get used to losing. Next up is Milwaukee.

Nice win over Philly as I switched up some things strategically and with my rotation. Also got the win without Barnes who I wanted to get 100% healthy, but D'Angelo Russell went down for 10 days with some back spasms and Giles for 4 days with a sore foot.

Clippers 111 Sixers 104

Russell: 17 pts, 9 ast, 5 reb, 2 stl
Zubac: 17 pts, 5 reb, 1 stl, 7-7 fg
Conley: 14 pts, 5 ast, 3 reb

Bad loss against the champs at home.
Second game in a row with terrible defense. Also 24 to 7 TO is just not cutting it.
I hope that was a wake up call.

A good bounce back home win over Memphis as Jones burned them with his long bombs. I think Jones and Weber will stay here longer than anyone else ever. I'm putting them as the first ever untouchables in my team so don't even try lol

Dropped a road game @WAS. 90-105

We actually shot better from the field and equal from three, we only gifted WAS 7 FTA, but we took a whopping 33 LESS SHOTS because we had 22 turnovers to Washington's 4. That's just pathetic.

Monk: 21 points, 4 rebounds
Kemba: 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists
Aminu: 16 points, 8 rebounds, 8-11 FG

We're 9-9. Our schedule has been very tough all season, with roughly only a quarter of our games this season in which my opponent isn't clearly playoff caliber. But still, I'm expecting significantly more than .500. Definitely about to make some changes to my game plan.
2022-23 Houston Rockets
PG: Kemba Walker / Jeremy Lin / Keenan Evans
SG: Malik Monk / Vlatko Cancar / Seth Curry / Buddy Hield
SF: Dragan Bender / JaKarr Sampson
PF: Kevon Looney / Al-Farouq Aminu / LeBron James
C: Karl-Anthony Towns / Eric Mika / Justin Patton [+]

I hate it that we are struggling so much on the road. Need to rethink my road strategies

Detroit Pistons - 86

Terry Rozier - 18 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 9 stl, 2 blk
Jamal Murray - 17 pts, 2 reb, 4 ast
Julius Randle - 14 pts, 9 reb, 2 blk
Bobby Portis - 10 pts, 14 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk
Branden Dawson - 8 pts, 10 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk

Brooklyn Nets - 83

DeAndre Ayton - 14 pts, 8 reb, 1 blk
Pascal Siakam - 13 pts, 13 reb, 3 stl, 1 blk
Malachi Richardson - 11 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl
Ty Lawson - 10 pts, 5 ast, 1 stl
Myles Turner - 10 pts, 16 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk

The Pistons and Nets put on one of the ugliest performances for the fans and they should all be asking for their money back. The teams combined to shoot 10-42 from three, took a total of 14 free throws, turned the ball over 33 times and combined to shoot under 40% from the floor in general. Woof!

Terry Rozier was the shining star in this one as he stuffed the stat sheet. His nine steals were a game changer. With us benching both Mario Hezonja and Fred VanVleet due to injury, we played a VERY heavy zone and slowed the pace to a complete crawl. It seemed to work but without two of our more gifted scorers we struggled to get buckets. Obviously Hezonja is an elite scorer but even just having a healthy FVV probably would have won this game for us as his shooting would have gone a long, long way.

Love seeing DeAndre Ayton leading the way for us - along with Pascal Siakam - as he scored 14 points and grabbed eight boards while swatting a shot in just 19 minutes of play. Can't wait to see him grow!

We will now play the Blazers without Hezonja and FVV. Let's see if we can shake things up and steal a win.

Nice win over a good Rockets team, as it wasn't the prettiest display of offense on our part, but we forced 22 turnovers while limiting ourselves to 4. 4 more days until the return of Inglis.

Teodosic 22 pts, 4 rebs, 9 asts, 2 stls
Napier 16 pts, 5 rebs, 5 asts
Monroe 14 pts, 9 rebs, 1 stl
Batum 12 pts, 3 rebs, 3 asts, 3 stls
Alkins 12 pts, 2 rebs, 2 asts, 2 stls
Rivers 12 pts, 2 rebs, 2 asts, 2 stls.
The Future is Here!

Teodosic/Rivers/Lewis
Napier/Alkins/McDaniels
Inglis/Batum/Brooks
Monroe/Rabb/Henson
Tavares/McGee/Anigbogu

Whoof. I don't think we're playing heavy zone but maybe we do? Either way, getting smoked by Orlando at home. . .need to start scouting the very top of this draft :/

As Adam said, this game was U.G.L.Y and none of the players had a alibi.

Rozier did what he has been doing all year, but the rest of the team decided to sit this one out. Glad to escape with a win, but that wasn't very promising.

Kyrie basically beat the Bucks and accounted for about 40% of the offense. He's being really efficient with the extra shots he's getting up from our inproved D. Hope we can keep this momentum going as we approach our best start of my time here.
