Brooklyn Nets - 89

Rashad Vaughn - 22 pts, 3 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
Malachi Richardson - 20 pts, 7 reb
Pascal SIakam - 18 pts, 18 reb, 1 stl, 4 blk
Myles Turner - 16 pts, 15 reb
Frank Jackson - 5 pts, 7 ast, 6 TO

Boston Celtics - 107

DeAaron Fox - 37 pts, 2 reb, 10 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
Skal Labissiere - 16 pts, 14 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Ben McLemore - 13 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl
Miles Bridges - 12 pts, 2 reb
Isaia Cordinier - 12 pts, 6 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
Tristan Thompson - 6 pts, 16 reb, 1 blk

We allowed the Celtics to shoot just 38.6% from the floor and attempt only nine free throws. The problem was we turned the ball over 19 times, they attempted 114 shots compared to our 87 because we allowed 22 offensive rebounds. That was a game we potentially had a chance to win but we just couldn't hold on to the rock and we couldn't keep them off the glass. We are doomed.

Really didn't want to be 0-2 down so that's the one we needed.

Didn't make any changes from game 1 as I thought we played okay and liked how we set up but we won this game in a completely different way that I would have thought taking 11 less shots and hitting just under 54% of the shots.

Westbrook has really been a non-factor though and Rozier fouled him out again. Maybe last season was really his last productive post season and now he's just old.

Unfortunately have lost Nurkic for 12 days. Not sure what percentage he's out so may need to take him out.

Huge by Denver to balance that up too and the Pels had their best chance with 14 more shot attempts but just came up short.

Looks like we get zoned and McL just decided to not take many 3s. Normally he picks it up after 1-2 games, so hope is there he goes bezerk if zoned again. Also Nets' rebounding and ball protection doesnt appear to be strong enough to play a high zone. Needs to be seen if that was a fluke the first two games though. Fox balling so far. Putting up 37 twice in the first two games.

Huge win by Denver to take away HCA from Houston, meanwhile MIA/SAC got an important game 2 win to stop the bleeding as well.

Ugly game by both teams where we only put up 71 shots but somehow escaped with another close win at home. We got some home cooking though as we went to the line 39 times against their 19, but it seems the biggest difference in this series is our front court against theirs.

They are still jacking up a ton of 3s though which doesnt make sense to me since we are mostly manning up, but we played good defense in this one too. Either way, not looking forward to going to Toronto as this could easily be 2-2 after seeing how close these games have been.

122-130 loss to Denver. We punt homecourt advantage and dig ourselves a little hole.

We got wrecked by James Young, were frigid from three (21%, Monk doing most of that), and weren't able to capitalize on Drummond getting in foul trouble and playing just 17 minutes. Bad loss.

Winslow picked up minor injuries in this game, as did Young for Denver. They're probably still playable, but I might drop Winslow's minutes a little bit.

Harden: 27 points, 3 steals, 8-13 FG, 10-10 FT
KAT: 20 points, 6 rebounds, 6-11 FG 8-9 FT
Chriss: 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7-8 FT
Winslow: 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 3 steals

MIami got a big win that they needed at home. Great win by the Kings on the road too. That Spurs vs Kings series is going to be good.

New Orleans Pelicans – 120, Phoenix Suns – 126

PHX
Okaro – 22 pts (10-16 FGs), 8 rebs, 4 blks, 2 stls
Taylor – 24 pts (8-16 FGs, 8-9 FTs), 7 asts
Shaq – 17 pts (4-8 FGs, 9-12 FTs), 9 asts (2 TOs), 6 rebs, 2 blks

NOP
Zubac – 21 pts (8-12 FGs, 5-6 FTs), 7 rebs, 2 blks
Markkanen – 21 pts (8-13 FGs), 6 rebs
Lillard – 18 pts (9-11 FTs), 9 asts, 8 rebs

We won a pretty close one as the Pelicans certainly gave us a tough game, but a win is a win and I'll take it. Markkanen bounced back with a good game, and it looks like he got moved around to play some center, which is probably the smart move to avoid Okaro for part of the game. That’s one thing I won’t miss about DDS3. Second straight game that Austin has gotten in foul trouble, which has hurt. And Zubac had another good game for the Pelicans off the bench. We also got beat on the offensive glass.

On the plus side, Taylor and Okaro continue to play great. And Shaq has held his own against Lillard (shooting just 8-33 in the series), which is a something we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish last year.

Whitehead picked up a minor injury that’ll affect him for the next week. I’ll have to take a closer look in-game at his injury before determining what to do there.

Welp. Miami strikes back. Pretty sure I know what matchup he changed but couldn't make changes as I had some irl work to get done. Not too upset because who knows if they would have even worked. Not gonna have time to look at what changes Silo made today either because of work and family in town so gonna have to pray for home court advantage till I can make changes for game 4. Fingers crossed!

L vs. DET

We lose a tough one in Detroit and struggled to keep the Pistons off the line. Our frontline is decimated by injury but that's no excuse and we'll have to make adjustments if we wanna defend our homecourt.

Bledsoe: 18/5/5 w/ 2 stls
MKG: 17/19 w/ 1 stl & 1 blk
