PLEASE PROCESS THIS TRADE FIRST TO OPEN UP ENOUGH ROOM UNDER THE LUXURY TAX FOR THE OTHER TRADE.

We accept.

Hard to part with Payne and Allen at the same package, but we're trying to build something great here in Chicago and overall bringing in Milos fits great with the bigger plan. Once all moves are completed, it should become a great team, even if I'm sacrificing a huge part of my future for that.
Thanks for good negotiations, guys. In the end I'm very happy to be able to find a deal that makes everyone happy.

We accept. Woof what a deal.

We get to bring in a top pick in this past draft to see what he can be in the new engine. It's never easy to trade the guy you've been building around like we were in Hezonja, but we're thrilled to add a good young talent that we can use as a building block going forward.

We accept! As my team has seemingly hit a wall, and with Milos entering RFA at the age of 30 , I feel like we simply don't have enough pieces to push into the elite tier with him, especially with him getting a gurnateed max in the open market. Also, after years of experimenting with Milos, I have found his weaknesses were too hard to overcome when he's matched against a great defender, or when he has to matchup with an elite scorer. His lack of defense is rough, and his lack of foul drawing also has made him much easier to be shut down by elite defenders over, and over again.

Hezonja is only 24 years old, and I know he has his fans/critics in this league. But I feel he can succeed here, as he won't be pressured into being the only guy on offense. He will have plenty of help here, meanwhile Trice, Giles, and Allen are all young pieces that will give us some solid foundation for a retool. More moves will likely happen as time progresses, as we will likely be sellers, and try to retool for the future.

I am actually excited to see how Hezonja does with a core of Cotton, RDM, Anigbogu, WCS, Rabb, Lewis, Giles, Trice, and Allen down the road. What a sad day, as Milos has been with us since day one, and I am certain Marcos will make the most out of him in Chicago as they contend for a ring.
Cotton/Trice/Ferrell
Devyn-Marble/Lewis
Hezonja/Dotson/Leaf
Anigbogu/Rabb/Giles/Spellman
Cauley-Stein/Marjanovic/Allen

Lakers confirm. This draft class is totally lacking in PGs who can play defense at the spots we're selecting, and Payne is someone I've chased for a long, long time (as Jeff can attest). Easily our best PG since Jeremy Lin and still youngish at 27. This also slides D-Lo to a combo guard role that's his best fit and we avoid the potential awkward duplication of Musa and Luka if that situation came up in the draft. Now the road is clear for my boy to come here if we get Top 2. Bruno will get a look at SF to see how he does.
