GG Tor,

Memphis gets another strong win on the road, this time against a very good team, we controlled the boards and the pace of the game for a 26 points blow out.

Win in Detroit

I actually wanted to sit my starters after that exhausting OT game against Toronto.. I forgot to upload my tem though.. lol.
Being exhausted from the Toronto game it was an ugly one in Detroit as neither team was able to shoot well. We had the slightly better D though and escaped with a win.

Orlando Magic - 109

Josh Jackson - 24 pts (6-9 3PT), 5 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl
Joel Embiid - 20 pts, 7 reb, 4 stl
Andrew Wiggins - 16 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl
Reggie Jackson - 13 pts, 3 reb, 4 ast
Josh Hart - 12 pts, 6 ast, 1 stl

Brooklyn Nets - 120

Malachi Richardson - 24 pts (6-10 3PT), 5 reb, 3 ast
Myles Turner - 24 pts, 7 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
DeAndre Ayton - 16 pts, 8 reb, 2 ast, 2 blk
Rashad Vaughn - 15 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast, 2 blk
Frank Jackson - 15 pts, 4 reb, 8 ast
Pascal Siakam - 8 pts, 9 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Marcus Derrickson - 7 pts, 7 reb, 1 blk

Got a win against the Magic as we 9-zoned them as usual. They shot 11-30 from deep compared to our 16-32. They shot 10-13 from the line compared to our 20-30. We won the battle on the glass by 12, we shot better overall from the floor. All of those add up to a win.

My take away: josh Jackson is a 3pt gunner and should be instructed to shoot more 3s

After looking at the stats I'm surprised we won this game at home over the Bucks.
A good shooting night probably saved us.

120-77 win over LAL. Monk goes for a career high 40 points, KAT and Chriss were very good, and we held LA to 35% shooting. Kemba only played 11 minutes for some reason, but I guess we can count that as rest.

Monk: 40 points, 12-24 3P
KAT: 17 points, 16 rebounds, 7-12 FG
Chriss: 16 points, 7 rebounds 3 blocks, 2 steals, 7-12 FG
Bender: 9 points, 11 assists

L vs. MEM

We limited minutes across the board (particularly Joseph). We had a terrible outing in this one though. Our schedule has been tough but that's no excuse. We didn't turnover the ball much (+10 in the TO battle) but our offense was just off in this one and our defense wasn't on point.

Next up is BOS.

Denver Nuggets- 117
Jayson Tatum: 25 Points/ 1 Assist/ 1 Rebound/ 15-19 FT
Andre Drummond: 18 Points/ 4 Rebounds/ 3 Off/ 22 Minutes
Chandler Parsons: 15 Points/ 7 Assists/ 1 Steal/ 1 Block
Team: 6 Blocks/ 3 Steals/ 25 Assists/ 43 Rebounds/ 12 Off/ 34 Fouls/ 14 Turnovers
41-95 FG__8-31 3FG__26-36 FT

New Orleans Pelicans- 151
Anthony Davis: 46 Points/ 15 Rebounds/ 6 Off/ 2 Blocks
Paul George: 21 Points/ 3 Rebounds/ 3 Steals/ 2 Blocks/ 26 Minutes
Lance Stephenson: 14 Points/ 3 Rebounds/ 1 Steal
Ante Zizic: 13 Points/ 4 Rebounds/ 1 Steal/ 1 Block
Joe Jackson: 1 Point/ 9 Assists/ 5 Rebounds
Team: 6 Blocks/ 6 Steals/ 24 Assists/ 52 Rebounds/ 15 Off/ 29 Fouls/ 8 Turnovers
54-103 FG__7-20 3FG__36-49 FG
52.4% _____35%_____73.5%

We decided to go for a shootout against the Denver Nuggets, and we won handedly. The reason why Davis went off for 46 was because both him and Brice Johnson had 5 fouls each, and 1 of them had to be on the floor to play the 4 position. It quickly became a blowout, everybody playing below 30 minutes on each team besides Treveon Graham of the Denver Nuggets and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans. This pushes our win streak to 5, and our season to .500, pushing us closer to a guaranteed playoff spot. Next up, Utah and top scorer KP. Kyrie's back as well, making them even more dangerous than last time.

Lost a wild one in Utah 128-123 in overtime. Porzingis destroyed us with 46 points and Daniel Hamilton had 26/13. We got out-rebounded 61-39 and that may have been the difference.

Top Performers:
Tyrone Wallace: 30 pts, 2 reb
Mario Hezonja: 25 pts, 4 ast, 1 reb, 1 stl
Clint Capela: 12 pts, 5 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 1stl
