This has been a wild free agency thus far, might be the most money spent free agency we have had in a long time.
Thanks for the love with the Taveras deal, I hope we can make a deep playoff run from it.
While MKG does fit SJJ well (I mean they both can go by 3 letters which is good enough for me), I don't see how Austin and Stanley are necessarily a bad fit (which you're implying). The only thing Austin doesn't do well is rebound, and SJJ is one of the best in the CSL at rebounding. I think they'd fit just fine together.
I feel like Stanley and Austin down low on defense, would go terrible. With what I'm trying to do, MKG can switch from the 4 to the 3 where's if I had gotten Austin, I would have to play Stanley at power forward(who sucks at pf) sometimes as I don't see Austin as a full time 4.GreenBear wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:00 amWhile MKG does fit SJJ well (I mean they both can go by 3 letters which is good enough for me), I don't see how Austin and Stanley are necessarily a bad fit (which you're implying). Sure, MKG is the better fit next to Stanley if you want pure defense. I'm just saying that Austin is a good defender. Is he an all-defensive team player like MKG (or Qi would be if he played enough minutes)? No (very few are), but he's still a good defender and I doubt it would be the disaster you seem to think.Andrewu91 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 2:42 pm

Could they work? Probably, but not as much as MKG and Stanley down low works on defense and offense, with what I'm trying to build here in OKC.
Plus Austin is injury prone. Forgot to add thatGreenBear wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 8:22 pmSure, MKG is the better fit next to Stanley if you want pure defense. And play MKG at the 3 at your own risk. He's a little too heavy for SF and can't make many shots outside the post. There's a reason his value shot way up when I moved him to the post.
