How'd Your NCAA Season Go?

Post by Myles »

So, for some of us, our seasons are done. I know we've got a few people left in the NCAA and NIT tournaments, but for those of us that are out of it all, how did it go?

My Northridge Matadors were a little disappointing. I was hoping we would go at least .500 but we fell just short of that even with our end of season winning streak. I think we have some young talent, especially sophomore centers Senque Pride and Howie Greene. Juniors Mike Tyndell (lead team in scoring with 13 points per game and rebounding with 6 rebounds) and Jeremiah Henry (12 points, great outside shooter) will be even better next year as well. So our four best players are staying, in fact, of our three graduating seniors, only one of them played significant minutes and he shot 35% from the field, so good riddance. We will be a much improved team next year, so I'm looking forward to that!

Disastrous.
Won 6 in arow, tried a new setup => lost 7 in a row. Great coaching.
Then I let the team manage themselves and somehow we are still on track in the tournament beating Wash St and rival 16-2 Stanford. We are 15-14 now - Playing Colorado next.
But base on my contribution, I probably should get fired

Poor from Nebraska. One man show with Senior Kerry Drexler all season. 3rd bottom in a competitive conference but not good enough. Next season not sure where the points will come from, hopefully one of the freshman turns out to be a gem!

We were winning so I decided to not interfere too much. Not knowing any of the NCAA rules is a bit of a disadvantage though
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

An ok season. Got the 15 wins target now hoping to make some waves in the NIT.
