Really great read, really enjoyed this one. Nice to see Lillard (3), Kanter (7) and Mudiay (8) getting some recognition here, hopefully we can translate their play into wins though.

Curious to see what differentiated them as KD clearly outperforms LBJ...
Likely ratings, as Chili said 60-70% of the EVAL comes from a player's ratings

Could also be that KD is playing more minutes, which is factored in.
This. Not sure the exact rating impact, will check the breakdown once I get back to the computer. But from performance points of view :

- More minutes played by Durant
- 3pts% (28 vs 35)
- TO (4.9 vs 3.0)
Okay makes sense

But how do you determine a players projected stats when they've played less minutes? What's the baseline there?

Here is the break down for Durant and Lebron

Efficiency

Lebron 104
Durant 103

Ratings (which also take into consideration %)

Lebron 89
Durant 86

But I expect Durant to step-up as he was more efficient the last seasons

2018 - Kevin Durant - Portland_Trailblazers : 28.4pts, 47%, 7.3ast, 8rbd, 1.2stl, 1blk in 39.1min / EVAL: 91.2
2017 - Kevin Durant - Portland_Trailblazers : 40.2pts, 49%, 5.6ast, 9.3rbd, 1.3stl, 1.3blk in 43.3min / EVAL: 98.2
2016 - Kevin Durant - San_Antonio_Spurs : 32.8pts, 48%, 3.5ast, 7.1rbd, 1.2stl, 0.9blk in 33.1min / EVAL: 99.5
2015 - Kevin Durant - San_Antonio_Spurs : 26.8pts, 45%, 4ast, 7.2rbd, 1.2stl, 1.1blk in 34.8min / EVAL: 92.3
2014 - Kevin Durant - Oklahoma City Thunder : 29.6pts, 48%, 4.2ast, 6.5rbd, 1.1stl, 1blk in 36.8min / EVAL: 94.2

Baseline is 20 minutes minimum a game and a certain number of game to be eligible.
Then I calculate efficiency by minute

Harper wasn't eligible : number of games and still playing under 20 minutes a game. But he should be part of next ranking

Do you have a percentage breakdown on how much rating affects this?

70% rating - 30% performance

But with the % also included in the ratings, I would assume 60/40

Confirms what I thought about Draymond. Man I hope his DI improves. He impacts the game in so many ways.
