Interesting. Average Def rating amongst players is fairly high given the amount of points scored in the league. What's the point of that rating - or any of these ratings relevant to how the player performs in the engine?

Pretty interesting... tells you what a well-rounded rotation player looks like. If we assume every team has a 15 man roster, these numbers are what a perfectly average 7th or 8th man looks like.

I'd be quite interested to take this a step further to see what an average starter looks like by comparing the top 30 players at each position so we can establish the basketball equivalent of a Dalton Line.
