Los Angeles -- As draft day nears, tension has risen in the Clippers war room. League sources say the Clippers brass is torn on who they want to select with the fourth overall pick in the CSL draft. With the top 3 of Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic and Ja Morant basically a given, that fourth spot is where the draft gets questionable.

The majority of the Clippers war room is in favor of Rui Hachimura, the defensive wizard from Gonzaga, according to a source. However, a few prominent Clippers executives are calling for the team to select North Carolina wingman Cameron Johnson, citing his elite shooting ability mixed with his still-very-good defense.

Where the Clippers will go remains to be seen. League-wide executives believe it's a no-brainer pick for the Clippers to take Hachimura, but the indecisiveness in the Clippers war room is real.

Of course, there's still the possibility the Bucks elect not to take Morant...

I think Cam Johnson is a solid pick at 4 and wouldn't be surprised if you did go with him

They should be a playoff team soon though. I know my slot might finally open up cause we old and new engine that values offense more.

I'd draft Rui today otherwise and twice on Sunday.
