Houston Rockets Trade Block

Post by KW »

The Core:

Kaiser Gates - one of the absolute best defenders in the league and a great offensive player. likely our best player now, pending Walker's improvement.

JaKeenan Gant - not moving. you know why

MJ Walker - had a bit of a sophomore slump, but a great all-around player that I'm 100% not moving for a couple years till we see what we really have.

Cam Reddish - great fit with my top guys. Probably not moving.

Kenny Lofton - should be a terrific scoring big, want to see what i have

Dedric Lawson - great rebounder, switchy defender

The Youth:

Nathan Knight - love the pressure he puts on defense on his drives

Karim Mane - attacker and defensive guard we really need. willing to wait on his development

Chima Moneke - basically Rodman lite, want to see what i have

The Vets:

Mikal Bridges - premier 3&D wing

Eric Mika - 3&D big man

The goodies:
2033 1st [HOU] (can't be traded)

bump.

New rule: if Andy bombards my trade block, he will be forced to trade Durant for Chris Bosh

JAMES FUCKING HARDEN.

I'm not likely to move him, but I am more inclined to listen to grandfather offers than in previous years. Hit me with your absolute best offers.

DEMARRE CARROLL IS ON THE BLOCK AND LIKELY TO BE TRADED

I've received a couple of intriguing offers, and I want the league to know that if you want him, now is the time to get him. Aminu, Anderson, and the 21st pick in the draft are all available as well. James Harden is less likely to move, but I will still listen.

Last call for DeMarre Carroll! I will be committing to a deal in the next 24 to 48 hours, so if you want a low-usage defensive beast on a rookie contract, now is your last chance to get Carroll this summer!

DeMarre Carroll has been traded. Ryan Anderson and Al-Farouq Aminu in particular are now on the block for younger assets.

Since basically everyone knows the deal now:

I now have Noah Vonleh in a trade with OKC and will listen to offers for him until after the draft when the trade will be posted. I love his upside and he fills a need a center, but I will consider anything that makes sense. At this point, I have no real reason to trade him unless the value is great, or I am able to package with with any combination of Zach LaVine/Ryan Anderson/Al-Farouq Aminu/#21 for a big time upgrade.

Looking to make a move for a good starting PG. My highly valued pieces are available depending on the PG.

This PG needs to be a better ball handler and passer than James Harden and a better defender than Zach LaVine and shouldn't be a complete bum at scoring. Those aren't crazy high expectations, but I'm making valuable pieces available. Let's see what happens.

Updated. Vonleh in particular has received a ton of interest across the league. I'm willing to talk about any deal that provides good value. Picks, young players, impact vets, all welcome.

updated with verbal trades. Out: Galloway, Harris, Bachynski, NY 2nd. In: Agravanis, Moreland

Vonleh is more likely to stay put, but a decent 1st and/or a big upgrade at the PG position could make me change my mind.

Had some discussion about Aminu the last couple days. No guarantee he goes anywhere because I love his game but he's out there. Offer away!

Aminu, Murray, LeVert, Wright, Singh (from SA) are gone/verbaled.

Still reworking of the Aminu/Terrence Jones trade, but the trade will still be happening with all pieces involved, just with several extra parts. Willing to talk Day 90-ish trades over Eric Moreland, Dimitrios Agravanis, and some of the other small pieces I'll be acquiring in the next couple days.

Anderson and Vonleh also gone.

Roster stands at:

Biyombo/Jones/Dower
Saric/Moreland/Agravanis/Batts
Harden/Nader/Zipser
LaVine/Daniels/Munford
Thomas
with a couple of 2nd round picks and an open roster spot. Guess what position I need to fill...
