Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
TRADE DEADLINE IS BASICALLY HERE
I want your 3-point shooters, preferably one who can slot in at the SF position, but any position works. Bonus assets available if they can defend at a high level.
Kevon Looney ($12M)*
Justin Patton ($1.7M)*
LeBron James ($7M exp)
Jeremy Lin ($13.4M exp)
JaKarr Sampson ($2.8M)
Vlatko Cancar ($473k)
Al-Farouq Aminu ($8.3M)
1sts: 2024 LAC*, 2025 HOU
2nds: 2023 SAS, 2023 WAS, 2024 SAS, 2025 NY
Available for free or as salary filler: Buddy Hield ($1.9M), Keenan Evans ($473k)
Likely less than 24 hours away from the deadline. Get offers in TONIGHT

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Updated
Not much has really changed, as I do have a desire to run it back next season, but would love to bolster my backcourt or wing depth so that we don't completely fall off a cliff anytime one has to miss time.
Next year's Clippers 1st is available for the RIGHT piece

Bump.
Now that the season is over for us ... The plan is to run it back with a Monk/Kemba/Bender/KAT core. Monk/KAT will be going nowhere and Kemba/Bender will not move either unless it's a drastic overpay.
In all likelihood, two of Patton, Looney and Mika stay on as well, but guard or wing depth is really needed for us to take that next step.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Had some exploratory talks with multiple teams surrounding Looney, Aminu, Patton, and/or future 1sts for consolidation deals. Early 2nd could also move.
Will be looking for more shooters as well.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Nothing is done yet, but Justin Patton, Troy Daniels, Al-Farouq Aminu, and a couple future picks could be on their way out in a few different moves. Kevon Looney, Vlatko Cancar, and #33 have all been discussed as well.

Patton and two picks are GONE.
Next up- one of Aminu/Kevon Looney for some combo of picks/younger talent/cap room

Bump.
Aminu is tentatively on the chopping block for cap space and a small asset. A great defensive SF/PF piece that could go cheaper than I'd like. Has one fairly priced season on contract plus a TO for another.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
As of right now I'm not overly likely to trade #6 but I'd be doing myself a disservice by not even making it available and seeing what's out there.
So make offers for #6, Kevon Looney, Al-Farouq Aminu. #34 and Vlatko Cancar can be added as sweeteners.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Updated following the acquisition of #38.
Will be moving Aminu for cap relief and future asset. Exploring ideas with Looney for cap relief and a better asset, but less sure that a move like that would occur.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Aminu will be gone in tomorrow or so, giving another team a chance to sort out the logistics. Received cap space and a small asset.
Kevon Looney isn't necessarily on the chopping block, but send offers if you have interest.

Re: Houston Rockets Trade Block
Bump. Aminu has been dealt.
Fully prepared to roll with the starting five + Mika + #6 + cap space. I don't foresee any more trades unless they are just about 2nd rounders. But you can make offers on Looney if you want.
