It's tough to win without the leagues best player.

It was a hard fought game and we still can't make a shot, especially against a top team in the league.

Onto the next

In my infinite wisdom, I reinserted Bender and KAT back into our lineup today, and forgot to change their sub-out from 100. So they didn't play.

98-88 win @MEM. For the first time since the first three games of the year, Monk has finally had back-to-back decent games. Thank god. It seems we only shoot well in pace & space, and it looks like we're riding with that, turnovers be damned. Another added benefit is it looks like this game plan is limiting Winslow's shot attempts. McCaw and JLA played reasonably well in place of Bender and KAT.

Monk - 22pts, 10ast, 4stl, 6-13 3P
Chriss - 19/5
Kemba - 15pts, 7-11 FG
Monk/Walker/Bender/Winslow/Towns
Okobo/Jrue Holiday/McCaw/Chriss/Moore
Justin Holiday/Okogie

Two more losses on the road. Looks like it might be time to switch up the lineup.

What an ugly game at home against the Celtics, both teams can't hit anything and only because the refs sent us to the line a 50 times we can win it. But not even from the line we had a respectable %.
But win is win and right now we need it, doesn't matter how.

Middleton had a fantastic game, and he is demonstrating that he can really be a star in this ME, however LaVine, Green and Ullis went 2/14 from deep and that was the game really, also Houston shuffled the lineups and we couldn't game plan appropriately, well am happy we are not facing them anymore this season.

Golden State Warriors - 88

PJ Dozier - 22 pts, 5 reb, 2 ast, 4 stl
Henry Ellenson - 19 pts, 11 reb, 1 stl, 2 blk
Zhaire Smith - 13 pts, 1 ast
Nerlens Noel - 8 pts, 11 reb, 1 blk

Brooklyn Nets - 100

Malachi Richardson - 23 pts
Rashad Vaughn - 20 pts, 3 ast, 4 stl
Marcus Derrickson - 13 pts, 5 reb
Frank Jackson - 12 pts, 4 reb, 6 ast
Pascal Siakam - 12 pts, 18 reb, 4 ast, 3 stl, 2 blk
Myles Turner - 8 pts, 12 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk, 7 TO

Pretty solid win for us against the Warriors. We were led by Malachi Richardson's 23 points and Rashad Vaughn's 20 points, but their shooting was rough 9-23 from three. Pascal Siakam played some serious minutes but put up a huge stat line and grabbed 10 offensive rebounds alone. Marcus Derrickson had a decent followup performance though his five turnovers are a bit ugly.

Sorry for the lack of activity but it's been a crazy week at work.

Wondering if the defensive strats do actually what they're supposed to do. We have lengthy players and since switching to an attack defense teams are shooting above 40 % from three against us. :?:

Indiana 91
Miami 79

Porter 14 points / 13 rebounds
Ojeleye 12 points / 7 rebounds / 3 assist / 4 steals
Mika 13 points / 3-4 3PT

We beat Miami in Miami, but a Miami without Ben Simmons is not Miami.

But our win streak is now up to 7! After years of misery, Pacers fans are starting to believe in their team. Their optimism remains cautious, as years of suffering has made them skeptical of any success.

Both Sexton and Mika have sustained minor injuries, stretching the team thin before their matchup with Orlando.

Record: 12-5

Next up, Orlando.

_________
Around the league: Man, I am in love with that Charlotte offense. A real Golden State Warriors attack as they're knocking down ~14 3's per game on 43% shooting.
2024-2025 Pacers

Sexton | Alkins | Ojeleye | Porter | Mika

tnx Indy, that's pretty much what I was going for.

Los Angeles (C) Clippers - 109, Charlotte Hornets - 116

We had to change things up to make sure Looney and McCoy don't kill us in the paint. Both of them still scored a lot but we managed to get away with a W. Nice offensive and defensive performances from Young and Dunn while Korkmaz got to the free throw line ten times in the game. Wood with another double-double.

Dunn: 24 pts, 3 ast, 7 reb, 3 stl (4-8 3GM-A)
Young: 23 pts, 8 ast, 2 reb, 3 stl (4-7 3GM-A)
Korkmaz: 20 pts, 4 ast, 2 reb,
