Decided to match Miami's strats and we crushed them at their own game. 127-102 win over the Heat.

9 Pace and 9 Zone resulted in a lot of shots, and a lot of bricks. More bricks from the Miami side, who shot 16-51 from three, and were completely sealed out of the paint on offense. Miami did not attempt a free throw in this game, and Ben Simmons shot 2-14 from the field for 4 points.

We, however, shot 20-40 from three behind a very strong night from Monk, and rock solid efforts from Harden, KAT, Mika, and Bender. The rest of the bench was absolutely no help but we didn't really need them.

Monk: 38 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 13-21 FG, 12-20 3P
Harden: 25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 9-18 FG, 3-5 3P
KAT: 23 points, 13 rebounds
Bender: 11 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 5-8 FG
Mika: 10 points, 8 rebounds

San Antonio Spurs- 112
Terry Rozier: 18 Points/ 5 Rebounds/ 2 Steals
Frank Ntilikina: 17 Points/ 4 Assists/ 4 Rebounds/ 4 Steals
Mohamed Bamba: 16 Points/ 16 Rebounds/ 8 Off
Team: 6 Blocks/ 8 Steals/ 19 Assists/ 48 Rebounds/ 15 Off/ 43-107 FG 40.2%/ 9-26 3FG 34.7%/ 17-26 FT 65.4%/[23 Fouls/13 Turnovers]

New Orleans Pelicans- 116
Anthony Davis: 30 Points/ 14 Rebounds/ 2 Steals/ 3 Blocks/ 3 Off
Paul George: 21 Points/ 3 Assists/ 4 Rebounds/ Fouled Out
Klay Thompson: 20 Points/ 6 Assists/ 3 Rebounds/ 6-13 3FG
Justin Holiday: 6 Points/ 3 Assists/ 3 Rebounds/ 3 Steals
Team: 5 Blocks/ 9 Steals/ 24 Assists/ 47 Rebounds/ 9 Off/ 45-92 FG 48.9%/ 10-26 3FG 38.5%/ 16-27 FG 56.4%/[20 Fouls/20 Turnovers]

Close game against the dominating Spurs, we give them a close loss in their back-to-back. Davis popped off with 30 points, in 27 minutes. Klay Thompson with his 3rd game in a row with exactly 20 Points. Holiday and George managed to keep Davis Bertans to 3-11 all game, curbing one of their primary scorers. We did exactly as I had hoped, except for the excessive fouls. But playing a such a high pace, I'm not too surprised. Happy with the result, close game overall.

It's sad when the corpse of Mike Conley rises from the dead, and is my best player.

Jordan Bells watch: 10-15-4-1-1. His shooting though...

Well that's what happens when you don't upload the file and leave LaVine man 2 man with Exum, 30 minutes preparing the export and I didn't attach it, how clever I am.

CHA 109:85 OKC
Second away W in a row as our defense seems to have really stepped up in this one and held OKC to 36% shooting. Just 3 more days until Petteway returns.

Dunn: 23 pts, 4 ast, 3 reb, 2 stl
Korkmaz: 22 pts, 3 ast, 4 reb, 1 stl, 2 blk
Young: 17 pts, 6 ast, 3 reb, 2 stl
Wood: 14 pts, 1 ast, 6 reb, 2 blk
Poltl: 14 pts, 7 reb, 3 blk

Important road win in Memphis, we are still having a hard time to play good ball on the road.
Exum had a great game but LaVine didn't take it well and tripped him. He will miss a bunch of games.
Time to see if we can play winning ball without the chief on the court.

Cleveland Cavaliers - 92

Traevon Jackson - 17 pts, 2 ast, 2 stl
Doug McDermott - 13 pts, 3 reb
Blake Griffin - 13 pts, 10 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Victor Oladipo - 11 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast
John Collins - 10 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast
Elfrid Payton - 8 pts, 5 reb, 4 ast

Brooklyn Nets - 114

Myles Turner - 21 pts, 8 reb, 2 ast, 5 stl, 1 blk
Malachi Richardson - 18 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast
Rashad Vaughn - 18 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast
Jonathan Isaac - 13 pts, 5 reb, 1 blk
Frank Jackson - 13 pts, 2 reb, 6 ast, 2 stl
Tyler Ennis - 11 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl
DeAndre Ayton - 10 pts, 6 reb, 2 ast, 2 blk

We went with a true 9-man rotation and I am pleasantly surprised with the results. Got production across the board, we shot tremendously well from the floor (54%) including 15-32 from deep and limited our turnovers. We got beat on the glass, and gave up 13 offensive boards, but were able to secure a 22-point victory. Next sim we complete the double dip in Cleveland.

1-1 Sim

L vs. CLE

The Cavs are an interesting team and the backcourt battle (Payton/Oladipo vs. Joseph/Bledsoe) must have been fun to watch. Griffin finished with 21/12 and MKG fouled out trying to slow him down. This was a marque game and the Cavs continue to perform above what I expected going into the season.

Joseph: 30/2/6 w/ 2 stls & 1 blk

W vs. IND

We handily beat the rebuilding Pacers, and our defense showed up in this one. Joseph almost had a triple double to boot.

Joseph: 29/9/11 w/ 1 stl & 1 blk

Starting next game we will begin reducing Joseph's minutes, he's averaging a league high 41.8 MPG and although we've avoided the injury bug we can't ride him like we have all season or he'll break down. Expect Bledsoe to step up and our bench to see increased minutes - particularly Crabbe and McRae.

You can go ahead and count that as a W. This is our 5th or 6th B2B in the last three weeks. This might be the game I choose to just rest my main guys as when Jackson and McDermott are your top scorers you know your team is tired lol hopefully I can get home in time to do it.
