Sixers are not interested in making any trades until we can see our team in the game. Thank you

Good first deal to kick off the season. It makes sense for both sides as Dallas need to find some talent to put around Zioncic (lol) and Quarter is a good start as a 2nd scorer. Knicks on the other side need some defense to put next to Zioncic and Fultz. Simmons is just that. Also locked to a very friendly longterm contract. Cant do wrong with that. Phil gonna be back in the playoffs!

PS: lol, I missed that also Kostas is included. Good deal for the Knicks imo. Ante didnt develop last TC, but with 19 everything gonna be reset, so if he booms it's a really good one for them.

I like it a bit more for the Knicks due to Kostas’s potential growth in the new engine, but Quaryermann should shine in Dallas as a scorer.

Like it more for the Knicks but decent trade on both side imo.

I like Kostas a lot, he's someone I considered taking at 15 last draft.

I know a lot of people were high on Kostas coming out of the last draft but he looks just above average to me. I think its a fair deal all around, but as with probably every trade this off-season we won't know until we see these guys in the new engine.

I do like Kostas as a plug piece next to JJJ Fultz & ~Zion~

I'm a fan of this deal for both sides. Like said above, Quarterman will fit in well with whoever Dallas brings in as the #2 pick. As for the Knicks, they get a defensive piece in Simmons that will make Justin Anderson a bit expendable. Love bringing in Kostas and giving him a chance to grow next to Zion and JJJ in the long term.

I think the key on this deal will hinge on how Kostas develop in the new engine, as he had a bust camp last offseason.

I have never been a Quarterman fan. He'll have his moments but he's a very one dimensional scorer, and not efficient in that one dinension. I'd argue that Dallas gives up the best two players in the deal.

Only thing that would salvage this deal for Dallas is if Quarterman is better and more efficient in the paint in the new engine.

Something I find interesting here: Is New York going for the fearsome defensive frontcourt with JJJ/Zion/Kostas and then looking for guards who can shoot later? Maybe I'm reading too far into this move, as it really shouldn't impact who goes #1.

Not accusing you of anything, just curious. If you don't like Quarterman because he's an inefficient backup volume scorer, why do you like Aquille Carr?

I liked his handles and that's about it. I wouldn't have wanted him on a $5M long term deal or traded a good prospect for him

I think it's a fair deal, but I like it best for the Knicks simply for taking a flier on Kostas

I’m being careful and making the moves I think is right for the team ..I think Kostas is a gamble especially if he doesn’t fully develope...so I don’t see it as winning

You have to wait until after the draft since the game only allows you to have 3 draft classes worth of picks (this upcoming draft included).
