I honestly think Player Name is an awful player and have no idea how he still has a roster spot in this league. Terrible, terrible trade for the Nets. I hope Player Name steps on Aytons other Achillies.

Wishing injury on other team's players. Jon has reached a new low.

Who said anything about injuring? Stepping on an injured Achillies has shown phenomenal healing benefits.

Wow, Marcos killed this trade.

No clue why Gary would do this trade while trading their pick and Lillard is older so I’m not sure the Clippers angle. Regardless, great job by Marcos yet again.

I don't understand LAL's side of this at all... Why not wait to see what Musa looks like in the new engine? This Lakers team isn't going to be remotely competitive now, and Lillard's value isn't going upwards at age 33 on the final year of a contract. This is going to be one tim regrets unfortunately.

Wow, Dylan has done a great job here. Not sure why a rebuilding Lakers team wants my man Dame as they're rebuilding...I guess he has value as an expiring but giving up on the 3rd pick just this past draft is curious. I guess if Jestor projects that Musa won't live up to the draft hype I get it I suppose but a weird trade for him.

Yeah great job here for Dylan. I didn’t like it before but love it now for you.

Tim, I just don’t get it at all. Not only do you lose a TON of value but you will win a little more and hurt your pick.

Actually no. It’s that I rated Skal and Papa G about equally about draft time and I had an opportunity to pick up an extra 1st (that eventually turned into Pacers pick this year)

Oh, sorry. That makes it so much better.

Remember that time a 9-33 team gave up on the #3 pick 35 games into his rookie year, right before the league switches to a new engine, which was stated as one of the reasons why he was drafted? "He'll flourish under the new rules." Well now the Lakers will get a season and a half of an expensive veteran point guard, albeit a great one, who doesn't fit the team's timeline at all?

Remember when you said the Kevin Durant trade was a huge mistake because you were cashing in way before you were ready to and it's actually much harder to flip a veteran star than we think it will be? How is this any different?

I just don't understand this trade whatsoever for you. There's no upside to it. Wait actually, maybe if you are super duper lucky you will be able to trade Lillard before next year's deadline for a future first that could maybe be a lottery pick.

I'm sorry Tim, but I just can't wrap my head around this. I thought the Wizards were the big loser here, and they still are, but boy did you manage to take the heat off of them real quick.

I believe Lillard will still be deadline eligible this year?
