Re: Rookie First Impressions
Well surprised by Ulis.
As expected the DEF rate is catastrophic (38 - second worst in the league) but he has already really solid PG skills :
HDL 69
PAS 77
IQ 79
DI 88
He won't see much of court this year but he should have fun in D-league. Hopefully his team will play zone...

Draft looks raw. But that's what patience and training camp is for.

Re: Rookie First Impressions
I don't know, I think we get a little carried away with rookies being raw and flawed in areas. There just aren't any solid all around players in the league. They're either studs or great in some areas and terrible in others - with most of the CSL just terrible shooters.
Most rookie classes seem to be pretty raw but this class looks really bad. I get developing but you're talking 3-4 seasons here. That's a long time to wait and emphasizes my point in trading future firsts to win now, etc.
Even IRL, players need to develop, but from the looks of it these guys wouldn't even make rosters - let alone contribute as rookies. NBA rookies can at least hang with the big guys from the jump, mostly.
I guess we'll see what TC's do for these guys.
