Reports came out this week that Marcos expressed his interest in having a team to call his own. There are currently zero openings in the league, so it’s a patience game, waiting for an opportunity, but he expressed his intentions for league officials, and that’s what he had to say:

“When I came back I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to handle a team and the responsibilities but the truth is I’m back for good and would love to help a franchise. I can offer activity, experience, and help stabilize any franchise who needs some help. All I can promise is a lot of work like usual, but a different Beck now, a different person, more mature, which is an important point. The thing is I’m here to stay, love how the CSL looks right now, and will be waiting for an opportunity I like.”

There’s still lots to learn and work with Doug and the Phoenix Suns, but if the opportunity arises, it’s hard to envision Marcos passing on having a franchise for himself.

With this recent news, this is pretty shocking. Do the Knicks start him a few games, or grant his request for a trade?

Little has players he has to compete with, including Maodo Lo, Johnathan Simmons, KCP, Trey Burke, Wesley Saunders, Malik Beasley, Markelle Fultz, and Steph Curry.

Let's see how this plays out.
