CSL Stat Power Rankings (19 November)

Post by bt »

Thought I'd wait until around 10 games were played before starting these. Poll above and not sure I can but wasn't sure if it was too often anyway.

I mean I certainly wouldn't turn down seeing the power rankings every 15 days (I have no idea how much manual work goes into this), but I'd still be happy with once every 30 days.

I know this is all stat based and not based on opinion, but I don't know how we're ranked in the top 10. We barely have a winning record despite playing 7 of our 9 games at home haha. Not an ideal start to the year for sure :?

Good to see us that high, however, I would love to see our good performances result in more wins and fewer losses to teams like Chicago :D..
I still miss those days when it was okay to lose to a marcos lead bulls team. Now it's embarassing.

Seems like I've been stuck at 19-20 for three years now lol

Anyway I voted for 30 days

This is dope, I voted 30 as it would be less work and still current enough to give us an overview. Nice to see us at #11.

I voted for 30 days as well because I don't want to see you burn yourself out trying to keep up with 15 days. Also I'm very shocked to see us sitting at #6 overall but we will take it!

Could it just be every 10 games? I'd be willing to help if possible plus it kinda fits the format.

Took me a bit of work to get it set up initially but I have actually automated a ton of it and it reads most of the data from the schedule/standings pages and auto calculates a lot of things.

I definitely wouldn't be offering 15 or 30 days if I had to calculate the entire thing manually, lol. It's a monster effort when doing it manually.

Fantastic stuff, as we haven't seen a power rankings for a long time. Glad to see one here, especially being stats driven. 18th spot, that's better than last year lol, hopefully we can figure things out, and start going on some winnnng steaks. 30 days is fine for me if it's too much work.
Big changes are coming in D.C.
